	It's a sequel.It takes place (2?) years after the original B/W take place. Areas are frozen over, some areas are new to B/W, and some have changed since then. 	The games take place two years after the events in Black and White. So, it's supposed to be an actual sequel, instead of the traditional revamp of the first two games in the generation that contains only a few changes. Black 2 and White 2 are essentially new games. 	Why would you think they would make a remake for B/W on the same gen? They're sequels of course. You travel through Unova 2 years after the events in B/W happened.

Those aren't remakes. They're third games with minor changes from the previous 2. Remakes are games like FR/LG or HG/SS.
