May I ask, how can you play this when it's Japanese and not knowing a single word?

You can tell a what moves your opponent uses by its move animation. You can tell what move you use by accuracy, type and base power, also move animation. But accuracy, type and base power help with learning a new move and telling what a tm is. So that makes battles easy, then the story is always pretty straightforward and if you don't know where to go you can look it up on google. But Black 2 was easy, I never had to look up where to go next, the only thing I ever looked up was a password for a plasma dungeon. Pokemon games are the only ones I play in japanese because you really don't need to know the language to play them. the only thing the language helps is the story which I'll just enjoy the story in the english release.

Though even with not being able to read japanese and not looking up spoilers or anything I bet I could summarize the story and it would be rather close to the real story when the english version comes on. It's rather easy to pick up what's going on with the expressions and what characters are around.
