ump45master is right all missingno is for is to act as a place holder for things like the beginning when you dont have your pokemon yet. It only comes up as 000 because of how the game handles things.

This isn't technically true, as Missingno. isn't an official Pokémon. Iirc, it's the result of a buggy game and placeholders for Pokémon data, and if any entry is made for it, it was read the same as another Pokémon. Plus, there is no spot No. 000, the only exception would be Victini in Unova's dex, only because Unova's Pokémon were in National dex order, and Victini was No. 494 in the National dex (although I'm not sure why they did this, could've put him at the end like other event Pokémon).

I think Fawful could probably clarify Missingno. more.

Edit: Gawd I really hate allergies. ;__; I've taken so many antihistamine drugs it's not even funny, and I'm still sneezing, my nose keeps running, and my eyes are still extremely itchy.
