	Definitely not. I totally agree with you; all tutorials in the game should be optional, even if it's a feature that's new to the games.

	You could skip it in the first two Generations. No idea why they didn't allow you to skip in any othre generations. ------------------- Waiting for: Tales of Xillia.

	Definitely make them optional, but don't get rid of them. I tend to not really care. It's like what? 1 minute out of my day. Obviously there's still ppl who'd probably never played Pokemon before.

I can probably go without another refresher since I've been doing this since RBY. For all the changes the series has undergone, the catching mechanics are similar enough for me to be comfortable with it. 	Giving us a Pokemon Catching tutorial in every new Pokemon game does seem a bit unprofessional. Get rid of it. -------------------

Happened in all my games. In Red and Blue it was optional, not sure if it was in Yellow. 	I kinda wondered why this wasn't implemented on a lot of the series video games. The catching tut on Pokemon isn't that bad, but like on the MMBN series the tutorial gets really irritating because it's always so long. -------------------

	I don't think it's much of an issue. I find it enjoyable that the new hero must learn the ropes which adds to the story and whatnot, and it's not like they're hair-pulling thirty-minute tutorials.
