Comparing the old Unova map with the New - Page 2

Shows the differences better. And I honestly doubt anything is frozen over in the game. The ice doesn't fit the landscape and it's transparent. If you look hard enough you can see there's 2 new islands on the route to that beachy town. Umbella? Undella? Whatever it was.

Also, they finished the construction in the Resort Desert (will we still be able to access the castle? Looks like something crumbled to the ground in that area). The lake around the Entralink seems to have dried up, there's a new building in the amusement park in Nimbasa City, the center port in Castelia City is changed and those two islands next to it are habituated (the closest one looks like either the Battle Tower or the evil team's HQ). The cave near Opelucid Town is also gone. Anything else was either already mentioned or remains the same.

Oh, derp. Never been to Unity Tower and I'd expect to see Liberty Island on the original map.

But still, the ice on the map covers the clouds. I expect some stuff to be, like, snowy or hailing but not a giant glacier covering half the region. It's probably just to hide that part of the map for now. Kinda like how in PMD2 parts of the map were hidden by clouds until you were sent there.
