As far as a good fighting type goes, i would recommend heracross since its also part bug and has a good movepool to choose from. Everyone else uses/plans to use lucario if you want to consider that as an option and its found as riolu before 1st gym. Scrafty is a good choice and has dark type coverage and immunity to psychics.

As far as ground types go, I would recommend Excadrill, Krookodile, or even Flygon. Drilbur is found in relic path shaking ground spot so its accessible before 3rd gym. you can go to route 4 and catch sandile early before 3rd gym. trapinch is in deert resort and flygon could be your flyer. what you choose is based on how you are looking at coverage.

Last Slot member if you decide to go wih a 6th team member, i would recommend a fire type like chandelure or even the extremely overused arcanine which is found as growlithe before second gym. im not dissing arcanine as fire types are my favorite and its one of my all time favorites. darmanitan is a beast physical fire type attacker and magmorter is a pretty decently good special fire type attacker.
- Grass types arent bad either but since you got a water type to cover rock and ground (grass can too) and an electric type to cover other waters, its just an option. Leavanny, Ferrothorn, Roserade, Tangrowth are good options

Already ordered White 2, just ordered Black 2 today.
Serperior (love that it can learn Aqua Tail) and Zoroark (the rested are undecided) for White 2
Emboar(most likely)/Samurott (the rest still undecided) for Black 2 but I'll probably mix it up generation wise, sorta tired of just gen V pokemon since I've mostly only played white and black since last year.

I have finished my play through on white 2 (i imported a japanese copy) and i finished the game with this team.
Vaporeon
Arcanine
Simisage
Drapion
Metagross
and lastly Krookodile

Krookodile with moixe was hands down the best pokemon i have ever used finished the game with the move set; crunch, outrage, earthquake and i think foul play. But the three first moves pretty much swept the e4 he's a great pokemon just make sure he has moxie

But Kanon, you can't access Moss Rock ingame. I know that and that is full blown BULLSHIT, I'll trade Eevee over when I think it should be evolved and do it there, because *bleep* you Gamefreak, you have no good reason for not sticking another Moss Rock somewhere.

In anticipation, I have spend weeks breeding starters of these guys for my perfect team. They will be EV trained and kept at min levels in the White verison, then bumped up to White 2 at around lvl 20-30. Just after 2nd gym, that ways its super easy to train in white

I wouldn't even want to properly do all the EV training for my in game team. I barely have a clue on what I want my team to consist of in Black 2. I might just go with Pokemon I have never used before.
