Music-fueled shoot-em-up Beat Hazard Ultra is finally available on Android, and free no less (for now, at least).
Since the launch of the original Beat Hazard in 2009, the game has been slowly making its way to various platforms as both Beat Hazard and Beat Hazard Ultra (the enhanced and improved version); at first it was thought it might never come to Android due to the platforms limitations in music analysis, but it would seem something has been figured out on that front, and now here we are.
If you're completely unfamiliar with the title, it's a shmup like Geometry Wars, except the action on screen is tied to whatever song you're playing (which can be a default track, your own, or one from an Internet radio station). I called it an "addictive experience" in my review.
