First, please do not double post. Maybe edit your first one and delete your second. The only reason I'm saying this is that it makes our forums look untidy and it also is against the rules. I won't tell a moderator anyway.

Regarding the bit you are stuck at. If you have high-level Pokemon (At least level 85), then you should have no trouble beating him. The best two Pokemon are Espeon with Psychic and Umbreon with Bite. Another thing that can help you is the items you have in your bag. If you have any Revives, that battle would be a good time to use them. Other than that, just make sure you use moves to their full potential and you will eventually win. Good luck!
