	By a glitch, or because your computer turned off at the bad time ? I don't have the PC version (I have the PS3 one), but it'll be a mess if the game destroys the save by itself sometime, like in Liberation (on PSP).

	Ditto. A freeze corrupted my save. One around sequence 6 would be ideal -- but really anything would be welcome, if someone feels like helping out. I think there's a lot of other folks in the same boat who would appreciate it.

	If more than one player got a corrupted save because the game (or computer) froze, it's very likely a glitch with the game. Anyway, I just wanted to say that if you want to get the save by PM, you need a neoseeker account. Private Messages cannot be sent or received by guests.

Understood, but it would be really great if folks would post their saves up publicly (dropbox, mediafire, cl.ly, whatever). 	My save got damaged at the start of sequence 8. I've been googling around and haven't found a working savegame. I found some that came as "save001.sav", but the my damaged save is these files: 1.save, 1.save.metadata, 2.save and 2.save.metadata, I have no idea how to use that .sav I downloaded.

Anyway, for the PC version of AC3, check C:\Program Files\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<some code that identifies your Uplay account>\54\ -------------------
