No, I can't. This is really irritating and will be worse once I finish my story because then, I'd want to go and play the MP immediately.

I hope you don't get this problem. Some Australians are getting it. A guy said that none of his Aussie friends could play the mulitplayer. It seems that it's with some regions and UPLAY itself.
We seriously need patches to fix this and many other issues.

And notice the number of 'views' on this thread....Many people are getting this and then Google to find this thread and many others amongst the search results.

To, Ubisoft India. Hello and good morning. I've purchased Assassin's Creed III video game's PS3 version. Everything about my copy is fine except I can't play online. Whenever I boot up the multiplayer it says that 'Ubisoft services are not available, please try again later' and then puts me into the limited mode which is basically an offline mode. I just wanted to ask, are the Assassin's Creed III PS3 servers down for India? I can't seem to connect to the servers. Please take note of this issue. Thank you for your help and service. Sir, it's actually of because that when there are at least more than 200 or 300 players then the sever catches the game and it is not that one match will go on. So, the game is played as multiplayer by many gamers and when there are 20, 30 or 40 matches at the same time then the server is to be updated.

What the hell....What am I supposed reply now, are they saying that the servers have to be updated everytime there are 20 to 40 matches going on at the same time?

There's billions of you guys over there, so does that mean the server is going to be forever updating? haha

That's right. Their response was confusing and they seem to have no knowledge of running servers or even what they are doing.

Now, I could try that trick you can read in the first post but it's too time consuming and annoying, so I'm going to wait for a while for the patch. I haven't finished the story yet, I'm on Sequence 9 atm. Got my Desmond ending spoiled thanks to YouTube, once again. I recommend you to finish your story asap

Did it happen the first time you booted it up? What made it go away? Lucky you I've seen you on it a lot, so yes, I can confirm that at least you can play in Australia.But tbh, some people can play while others can't, doesn't matter where you live.

From what I can remember it happened maybe the third or fourth time I tried MP. So I just quit and played SP instead. Went on the next day and it was running fine. I feel bad for you guys who can't play...competitive MP is as thrilling as ever and Wolfpack is a great team mode.

No solid solution then. Thanks, from what I've heard and watched, the multiplayer is awesome and the best in the series. I wish they had a multiplayer Beta so that such problems would get fixed before the release of AC3 I loved the ACR Beta.

Even if that is the case, the users should be simply disconnected. Having a message saying the Servers are down only means people are going to get incorrectly frustrated with Ubisoft, since the message indicates it's a company-side problem, and not one with your own connection. Should it be a problem with he users NAT then the message should reflect that.
