	Log in to remove this sponsored message So with the end of Assassin's Creed III we obviously saw Desmond sacrifice his life to stop the impending solar flare that would have destroyed 99% of Earth's population. Juno had obviously been extensively planning to use Desmond as a tool throughout the eons in order for her to achieve her ultimate goal - the enslavement or the Human Race. If you read the emails that Juno sent to you in Assassin's Creed 3 (they'll be from a person with a lot of 1's and 0's which resembles binary) you'll know she hates humans and regrets ever creating them. She hates Desmond especially, however she only talks and helps him for her own ends. At the end of ACIII we see Desmond on the floor (presumably dead) and she simply says "You've done your part, now I must do mine". What do you think this means? Does she plan on sudjugating the Human Race? Does she wish to act simply as an advocate, letting the human race do as they wish but only within certain boundaries? Will she become the main antagonist for, perhaps, the next "trilogy" of games? I raised a point that perhaps Juno was the patron of the Templars while Minerva fulfilled the same role for the Assassins, since the ideals of both ran paralell with those of the Assassin's and the Templars. Maybe the Templars were of Juno's own creation, to try and get Desmond to do as he needed to by force. Of course this is all speculation; but what do you think Juno's role will be in Assassin's Creed IV and other future Assassin's Creed games? speculation, juno, templars, assassins, end of the world, minerva ------------------- "Run you clever boy, and remember"

	After Desmond's assault on Abstergo and the death of the two highest profile templars I have to say they are incredibly weakened. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see the Templars and Assassin's put their differences aside somewhere down the road in the series to deal with Juno. 	I can see this going one of two ways. 1.The Templars will go along with Juno, either through enslavement (via the apple) or through a belief that Juno will help them subjugate humanity for their own good (probably via reviving eye-abstergo) 2. The Templars will realise that Juno's way will enslave humanity, but not to achieve peace, but for Juno's own benefit. Therefore they (or some of them) will team up with the Assassins. One question. What happened to the Apple? We know Desmond's team had it but did they take it with them at the end? By the sounds of it they had to rush out of the temple and probably didn't have time to pack up, but did they remember the Apple? Did Desmond have it on him? If the Assassins retained the apple then there's still some hope for them as long as Juno doesn't get it. If they left it behind, then how bloody dumb of them.

The assassin convert, he said, had lost his influence and was more of a poster boy against the assassins. The doctor, he said, pioneered the Animus but that the templars had the technology for awhile. There are plenty of smart people to take his place. I think the Templars are too proud to ask for help anyway. 	I got the collector's eddition walkthrough for ACIII, and there were a few questions based around the ending and the next game. Desmond said he saw a vision when he stabbed Lucy of the Abstergo satellite launch on December 21st. But he didn't say anything about the solar flare happening, so why would Abstergo go ahead with the luanch of heightened solar activity? It also say's that the holographic apparition of Minerva could have been made by Juno to sound more beliveable to Desmond. And Desmond might make an apperance in the next game. 	I can't help but to entertain the thought that Juno will be the antagonist of the next game and eventually the assassin's and Templars will team up (at least temporarily) towards the common goal of ridding her. If it's one thing that AC3 seemed to highlight was how similar the Assassins and the Templars really are and that how their goals are somewhat aligned anyway My main query is who the next protagonist will be, seeing as I'm convinced the next game will be largely modern-day. My first thought was Desmond's dad because of lineage and the need of revenge but due to this animus data syncing to the cloud, it's hard to say. Ubisoft might take the opportunity to have a whole new protagonist. I still think the animus will play a big part though. My thought is that maybe a large portion of this game will be set during the first civilisation as hinted by a converasation between Shaun and Demond but I'm not sure. ------------------- "If your life has no purpose, then you aren't truly alive"

	Is anyone else really let down by this game? I was really disappointed with the ending. I can't say enjoyed the rest of the game (at least as much as I enjoyed the rest of the series) either, but THAT ending I was expecting Hell-fire raining from the sky, death and destruction everywhere... or at least some sense of tension before Desmond saved the World. I've been looking forward to this fiery apocalypse since the start of the series, an epic climax. Instead we just get poof. And Desmond fried on the spot. And another £40 to spend on another sequel next year I like the fact that we finally have a villain worth pursuing in Juno, and the revelation that she could well be the first Templar. But everything else about the ending, and all of Desmond's story, really frustrates me. I find Ubisoft's effort in Desmond's side of the game laughable. I felt no sympathy for the entire human race or our planet as the solar flares descended and brought about a wee bit of chaos. It just felt written off in that news broadcast in the end. A really weak, deadpan ending I thought. I've really loved the AC series up till this point, but I surprise myself with how much I have disliked this instalment. ------------------- "The Sun sets forever over Blackwater Park... "
