help How do you shoot the barrels? - Page 4

I understand your frustration. Finding the solution to this problem took some detective work:

The pistol (for some ungodly reason) is not listed as a weapon, but as a Tool instead. Mouse over the barrels on the ground and use the (default) Q button to utilize the Tool (pistol).

I'd like to find who coded it that way and kick their teeth down their throat. Enjoy!

This was the solution I needed. I tell you what.. find that program and we'll burn him alive. I also asked for a refund because I thought this was a game breaking glitch within the first 30 minutes of the game. Because of this on any site I rate this game it will be unable to get a score higher than a 7/10. Poor poor programming. Poor poor game testing. It makes me think they didn't spend anytime making their product and I hope the reviews punish them for it.

goto menuand press restart memory. It Really works. And then bick up thw gun.

:/ Just literally got this game and I'm already pissed off and unhappy with it. I have no crosshairs (yes, all the HUD options are turned on), I have to go into Eagle Vision just to have the barrels on the ground highlighted, I have my 'pistol' equipped (which only makes me either draw my sword or my hidden blades, even after manually selecting the pistol), and yet when I press the triangle button (PS3) nothing happens at all. I've rebooted my system, restarted the level, everything imaginable, and yet nothing works. I'm at a loss. At this point all I can do is see if I can get a refund or a new disc since apparently mine is corrupted. Any ideas on what more I can try before I go entirely insane?

I'm playing on PC. I know that I first need to aim with the white circle on the barrels on the ground and than to shoot them. BUT they don't light up to be a target. So the pistol will not shoot. Anybody the same problem? Any ideas?

I know but the barrels don't highlight so it (**** game) will not shoot

But that's sure is weird, it highlights when you aim to the left were there's nothing?

Hi, I know this is completely unrelated to the rest of the thread, but on my copy, there appears to be no map in the main menu for some reason. Any help?

I had the same problem today 1/11/12...instead of using the red circle to aim...I used the the white circle with a dot in the middle of it to aim the barrels on the bottom and then it highlighted white then shoot with triangle..trust me..it worked for me....lol ...what a weird thing to do
