Four months after the console version was revealed, Ubisoft has confirmed Assassin's Creed 3: Ubiworkshop Edition will be heading to PC, with consumers now able to pre-order the special edition.
The Ubiworkshop Edition is exclusive to the Ubiworkshop store, where it can be pre-ordered for $100.
Included in the special edition is the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia Second Edition, which is "the updated version of the now cult AC Encyclopedia". A graphic novel titled 'Assassin's Creed Subject 4' "containing the whole Daniel Cross/Nikolaï Orelov narrative arc obtained by merging Assassin's Creed The Fall and its sequel Assassin's Creed The Chain" is also included.
A release date, meanwhile, won't accompany the game's late October launch, with the pre-order page saying the PC version of the Ubiworkshop Edition is not due to be "shipped in late October", and that the "official shipping date is to be confirmed".
Assassin's Creed 3 is due for a release on consoles on October 30 in North America and a day later in Europe.
