Day 2 of the San Diego Comic Convention is under way and Ubisoft continues to release a huge amount of Assassin's Creed information. Yesterday saw the release of an Assassin's Creed III: Liberation trailer, today there's a new Boston walkthrough trailer for the main game, and now we get our first details on Assassin's Creed III's cooperative mode Wolfpack. Yes, that's right, there's a new multiplayer mode where you can team up with 2-4 friends to assassinate as many enemies as possible in a given time-frame.
Every assassination your team performs will add time to the clock, encouraging speedy, violent assassinations that blur the line between coordinated and maniacal. The hardest part may be avoiding getting in your team's way. Luckily, the NPC's won't cause much trouble, as the lore explains this game-type is simply a simulation run through the Animus.
Also, make sure to check out this newly released gameplay walkthrough from creative director Alex Hutchinson. Hutchinson shows off a number of the new casual gameplay features in Assassin's Creed III that promote stealth and simple traversal. If you're not interested in gameplay features, I'd still check it out just because the game looks beautiful in motion.
