He compares Desmond to another protagonist in a beloved trilogy, who Hutchinson believes inspired ambivalence at the start and something quite different when the final credits rolled. So, ACIII will be Desmond's last game? I'm confused, first we were told this was going to be the last game to feature Desmond, then we were told this was his penultimate game, and now we're being told this is infact his last game? 	I would love to see the end to all of modern-day/animus crap, period. Just let me play the game as some awesome assassin in the 1800s or whatever and I'll be happy with living his or her life. All this DNA backtracking and the whole conspiracy theory about how alien bleeped jesus is unnecessarily confusing and I just don't care enough to even try to make sense of it. Just to keep on topic, who's this Desmond person again? -------------------

	He's Ezio's bitch. I was always under the impression that this was going to be Desmond's last game anyway, so this isn't much news for me. I'm looking forward to the end of this storyline, it's been going on for a while and it's about time we get some goddam answers. -------------------

	I was hoping we'd get a modern day AC starring Desmond as AC3, as the fact that his use of the animus was supposed to speed up his training, because he started Ezio's memories before he was an Assassin. With all these temples he's supposed to visit, I thought it would be a bit like AC2 where we'd have multiple cities around the world to visit, because surely Desmond actually has to do something other than sit in the animus all the time?

	I'm probably the only person who actually likes the modern-day storyline... granted, it's nowhere near as interesting as the stuff Desmond's ancestors get into but it still ties the games together in a way that at least tries to make sense. That being said, I'm all right with this being Desmond's last game. It's time the man gets a conclusion to his story. ------------------- My memories will be part of the sky...

I like it too, but they could've done so much more with it (maybe they will beyond Desmond). Like at the end of the first game, where you got to access that email account and found out about Alan Rikkin, Leila Marino etc, they never really expanded on some of this stuff when they should've done.
