Assassin's Creed Neolympics

Everyone please see the 2012 Neolympics thread.

Whether you read it or not, let's get to the point. I'm looking for competitors to compete in AC-related events in the Neolympics. Since we're still at stage one, we could use a lot of input, particularly as to what kinds of events should be played. I encourage everyone to share their interests here or to ask questions about the Neolympics.

How would that work?

If it's something that can be observed and properly tracked for the sake of fair scoring and even playing fields, then it can work.

People would win according to the event they play. Each event would have the potential for a sing set of gold, silver, and bronze, so a variety of events would mean an opportunity to win more medals, much like the real Olympics.

Brilliant! Well count me in the Deathmatch, Wanted, Chest Capture and Corruption rounds. Maybe others, I'll see how good I am at them first.

Let's all hope Whitefalcon doesn't play, he's the Usain Bolt of Assassin's Creed.

Also, agreed that we should have each mode as a different event. But i think we should have three rounds for each event (on different maps too), and then tally up all the scores and decide the victors from the total score.

Dragoon , I agree with you, it should be a match type that is fair and only one person can be the winner as well as two others can be- 2nd (Silver) and 3rd (Bronze).

Can we do it with FFA WANTED, DEATH MATCH and Alliances (Two nations form a team and then winners fight each other in 1 vs 1 or something?)

This is what a FFA for the ACR Neolympics could be-

FFA matches would be done via a process of elimination with random matchups at the start. At least one other will be involved in all games to ensure that the game taking place is fair and the scores presented correct. However, only the scores of the two individual players will count in each round. So if the match was between Myself and Boo but Agent Mo scored the most in the match, it would only be down to who got the highest score out of myself and Boo. All other scores will be discounted.

I'm unsure how exactly we can go TGM games, but I was thinking a long the lines of a total number of points rather than individual. So, for example, if Person A for 3,400, Person B got 7,800, and Person C got 1,200 the score for the team would be 12,400 and personal score counts for nothing. At the end of the rounds the teams with the lowest overall score would be eliminated. To ensure this works we'd need at least 8 players to form 4 teams of 2. This is just one suggest however (for both game types) so I'd like some feedback from you all.
