It is, but instead of a cowboy, you're an Indian.

But it also reminds me of Skyrim, because there's a lot of stuff to do, and the world is very large, except it doesn't have any dragons or giant lizard people.

Yeah i was thinking that too. Doesn't look like AC that much. The first few chapters which i'm doing now are a bit piratey too

Haven't come across bears yet, i'm not that far. Tbh i completely forgot about them - looking forward to unlocking more of the map now. But bears in RDR.....man. I remember when i was out in the open hunting DEER, put some bait down and hid behind the only rock in the area. Next thing a bear mauls me from behind They're not even supposed to be in that area ffs haha

Also, how cool is the twelve men's morris game in the tavern? I've played that so much haha

Red Dead was an infinitely playable game man, really enjoyable. Even when you weren't doing missions and just roaming about it was awesome. It was everything GUN should've been. When the bears mauled your horse, you knew you were next. :<

No idea about Assassin's Creed Taki as I've not played it but if you're referring to the bears in Red Dead, they're bastards. D:

Oh yeah definitely, i spent hours just roaming and hunting, so enjoyable. Such good fun walking through a woodland area not knowing what kind of animals are about

Bears were such a laugh, unless you get a chance to shoot them in the head with a powerful weapon, you're in trouble. If i couldnt, I usually just sprinted all the way to Scott so he could get the shot in when they're running towards him

Until we managed to get on top of the cabin in Bearclaw camp, then we just piled up the bears ha. Cheetahs were the worst in the game though imo, so fast and dangerous

I never did get to complete it unfortunately. I never actually had the game, only ever played it in my uncle's place but always enjoyed it! There are some legendary or rare breed animals in the game too aren't there? I remember trying to find the bear one in the snowy mountaintops, but my uncle must've got him already because he wasn't in his cave. D:

Ericf yeah haha. I think it was something like you had to kill a few waves of bears in that area and then the rare one appeared.

I didnt finish it either actually. Got really far and my ps3 died. Got a little further on my new ps3 which took ages and played undead nightmare but ive never done the last couple of missions for some reason D:

What's Undead Nightmare like out of curiosity? I've always loved the cover of the add-on. I generally judge games by their covers haha.

Pretty good but quite short according to scott. Ive not completed it. Basically its constantly dark, you've always got zombies after you. New missions, new rare zombie animals, survival mode online which is good. Its so awesome playing the game in darkness vs zombies with stuff like metallica, mastodon, maiden playing custom music ftwwww

I cant remember myself finding the rare animals on undead, but yeah i think there was a bear. And a sasquatch too D:

The darkness annoyed me though, too hard to see when its dark on rdr
