For those of you having trouble with the Kerotan. I'll be doing this in 4 parts.

Kerotan Locations:

The first 5 are all in the Virtuos mission so you have to get them then.

1. Dremuchij South - When Standing on the branch where you find your backpack, look to the southeast. The Kerotan is standing on top of the hill.

2.Dremuchij Swampland - Go to the tree in the northeast of the area. Look to the Southeast, and you'll find a kerotan on the embankment

3.Dremuchij North - The Kerotan is standing on the hallowed out tree trunk to the east. It's easier to spot when looking from the north

4.Dolinovodno - The Kerotan is standing on the top of the southeast post of the rope bridge.

5.Rassvet - Go under the Stairwell and look through the hole in the wall to the north. You'll see a Kerotan on the ground.

The rest of the Kerotan are found in the Snake Eater mission

6.Dremuchij East - A kerotan is standing in the Western Area behind a collection of tree trunks and hollow logs. You will have to crouch and find a hole to be able to hit this Kerotan

7.Dremuchij North - Find the climbable tree in the middle horizontalpath of this map. Climb it, then look left. The frog is on top of a hill.

From here you have to backtrack to two previous areas now. Go south from Dremuhcij North.

8.Dremuchij Swampland - The Kerotan is on the west little island. Look for the furthest north tree on the island and then look on the ground between this tree and the cliff.

Keep going south

9.Dremuchij South - There is a Kerotan in the southwest area, on top of the embankment.

Now go back to Dremuchij North and continue the game as normal form there.

10.Dolinovodno - You'll see this Kerotan on the right side of the Northern end of the bridge.

11.Rassvet - This Kerotan is under the Stairwell behind the big oil tanks. Look from the right to see it.

12.Chyornyj Prud. Dive down under water right where the island with the Croc Cap on is. You'll find the Kerotan to the left side of a tree trunk.

13.Bolshaya Past South - At the electric Fence where you don't jave to find an opening because there is a gap between the right and left sides of the fence. On the right side of the fence the Kerotan is on the ground between a cluster of trees.

14.Bolshaya Past Base - Enter the building in the middle of the area and look under the table in the bedroom.

15.Bolshaya Past Crevice - Make sure you get this before you kill Ocelot or you won't be able to get it at all. Move to the southeast corner of your side of the crevice and look south the Kerotan is on the other side of the gap.

16.Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch - In the room with th Night Vision Goggles stand quite far back and go into first person view. The Kerotan is high up on the southern wall.

WARNING there are two other Kerotans hidden in the caves whcih i will detail in the next part which should be posted later today.

Is this done in chronological order? In other words, do we have to keep going back and forth through the map or can we get them in order, as we progress through the game?

Its in chronological order. I know coz I've followed the whole guide from Game FAQ... but I havent got the stealth coz I shot some of the frogs more than once.

Are you sure? I wasn't aware that shooting the frogs more than once meant you didn't get the stealth.

thats what I've heard. Dunno if its true. Either that or I missed a frog.

Ok here are the next few.

17.Chyornaya Peschera Cave - Look up during or after the fight againbst the Pain. A Kerotan will be standing at the edge of the biggest hole in the ceiling.

18. Chyornaya Peschera Cave Entrance - Step carefully into the chamber with the claymore mines. A Kerotan is standing on a sort of archway above the entrance.

19.Ponizovje South - A Kerotan stands just a few metres away from the entrance on the left shore.

20. Ponizovje West - Dive down in the centre of the northern quay wall. The Kerotan is underwater in the circular passage behind bars.

21.Ponizovje Warehouse: Exterior - In the southwest there is a red floodgate. The Kerotan is standing on the top post.

22.Ponizovje Warehouse - A Kerotan is on top of one of the beams below the ceiling. To spot him stand at the stand at the southern wall, face northwards and look straight up.

23.Graniny Gorki South - The Kerotan is on a branch to the left of the exit in the north. He is right next to the trap that hangs you from the tree if it catches you. He may even be easier to spot if you let yourself be caught in the trap.

24.Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior: outside Walls - Get in front of the hole leading to the Inside Wall area. The Kerotan is standing on the embankment to the west.

25.Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior - Inside Walls - Upon entering from the door to the east (the one you have to knock on to get the guard to come and open for you) look through the window of the small shack-like building. Shoot the Kerotan through the window.

26.Graniny Gorki Lab: - The Kerotan is on top of the lockers to the southeast on the GROUND floor. There isn't a Kerotan on the upper floor.

27.Gorki Lab B1 East - Run right through the area to the final prison cell. The Kerotan is in here to the right.

28. Gorki Lab B1 West - In the room with the first Scientist pacing back and forth in front of the television the Kerotan is on the desk with the lamopshade in the middle west of the room.

29.Svyatogornyj South - The Kerotan is in the southwest corner, on a ledge several metres above the ground.

30.Svyatogornyj West - On the left next to the hollow log in the southwest.

31.Svyatogornyj East - In the bedroom of the cabin the Kerotan is sitting on a shelf.

Sokrovenno South - This Kerotan is on the ridge directly behind the northeast corner of the armoury with the SVD. Go up the slope leading to the building and then go around the armourys right side. Go into first person and look left to see the frog on the ridge.

Again there are two more frogs in the Sokrovenno area that will be mentioned later. Btw can I edit the title of the Thread because I am posting all the locations on this thread.

33.Sokrovenno West - Crouch down at the southern end of the stream, and loom south in first person view. The Kerotan is where the water dissapears into the rock

34.Sokrovenno North - Start out at the southern exit second in from the right. Now hug the left wall and run, following it as it curves around.Pretty soon, you’ll come to a hollowed-out log.Now, keep following the wall,
and look behind the VERY NEXT tree that is growing right up against the wall.The frog is between the tree and the hill.

35.Krsnogorje Tunnel - You can find a Kerotan before THAT ladder. It's on the left side behind one of the arches.

36.Krasnogorje Mountain Base - In front of the exit to Krasnogorje Mountainside, look up to the rock on the upper left.

37.Krasnogorje Mountainside - The Kerotan is on top of the upper right bunker. You may have to use the Sniper Rifle and find a good angle to hit this bugger.

38.Krasnogorje Mountaintop - There is a Kerotan in the southeast corner. Go to where the lowest gun emplacement is and from ther continue to the right. Look south and you should see the Kerotan on the ledge.

39.Krasnogorje Mountaintop:Behind Ruins - The Kerotanis in the tower on the right of Groznj Grad with the sine reading 07 on it.

40.Krasnogorje Mountaintop Ruins - There's a Kerotan on the shelves above the bed.

41.Groznj Grad Underground Tunnel - This must be done DURING the fight with The Fury. Immediately following the initial cutscene, run right into the nexthallway and face forward.The frog is right in front of you up on top of a
red pipe.

42.Groznyj Grad Southwest - Go to the Bunker (th thing with the Tank i it) in the middle at the western border and look through the slight opening.

43.Groznyj Grad Southeast - Climb onto the roof of the prison. The Kerotan is on the southeast corner of the room.

44.Groznyj Grad Torture Room - A Kerotan is hidden under the desk in the prison office.

45.Groznyj Grad Northwest - Run north, and as soon as you clear the tanks you should see a car with an open back to your left.Directly past this car is a stack of crates, which you need to climb onto.Then go into first-person and look left over the fence. The frog is on top of some
stairs.

46. Groznj Grad Northeast - Run to the northeast until you get to a building with several food supplies in it. Directly north of this building there is a hole in the floor.Jump down into it and then crawl west.
Follow this tunnel west and then south until you hit a place where youcan turn right (this should be right beneath a grate in the ceiling).After you turn right, the frog is directly in front of you.

47.Groznyj Grad Weopons Lab:East Wing - On the upper floor, in the room in the northwest corner, the Kerotan is standing on a bookcase.

48.Groznyj Grad Weopons Lab:West Wing Corridor -Immediately look out the south windows. You see those big speakers on top of a tall pole out in the distance? The frog is on top of them.The sniper rifle is your friend here.

49.Tikhogornyj - Face south and go into first-person mode. Look to your left, under the log.There he is.

50.Tikhogornyj:Behind Waterfall - Run right through the passageway and enter the door to the left. Position yourself next to the ladder and look up at the pipes to spot the Kerotan.

51.Groznyj Grad Weopons Lab:Main Wing - To find this Kerotan go up the stairs to the far left where one of the fuel tanks is. There may be a soldier/maintanence worker or two so deal with them first. Then look to the right and between some computers the Kerotan should be on the fround.

52.Groznyj Grad Weopons Lab:Main Wing B1 - This is another one during a boss battle.Immediately face left, then go into first-person and look up.The frog is on the ledge looking down at you.It’s a good idea to put on the Raikovich mask at the beginning of this fight, as it
will distract Volgin for a while and give you a clear shot at that frog.

Now the next few are the really annoying buggers, they have to be shot while you are on the motorcycle. It is highly advisable that you save upon entering each new area while on the motorbike as if you miss one you can just reset and have another attempt.

53.First Motorcycle Area - Once you get to the area with all the tanks in it, look at the spotlight tower to the right of the windowed area where all the guard are.Use the sniper rifle to find the Kerotan sitting atop it. I am aware that you can shoot this before you get to the Tank section but it is easier to do it this way because EVA stops momentarily giving you a much easier shot.

54.Second Motorcycle Area - When the motorbike stops for the first time in this area look for the Kerotan sitting in the drivers seat of one of the forklifts.

55.Third Motorcycle Area - This is on one of the box - shaped signs to the left after you make your turn.You should be able to see a plane directly in view behind it. EVA does slow down ever so slightly for you to snipe this frog but make sure you get your shot in as early as possible.

56. Fourth Motorcycle Area - This one is on the FOURTH sign to your right. This one could prove quite difficult so you may have to reload your save file a few times.

57.Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge - First of all press X to stand upright or else you won't be able to spot the Kerotan. The frog is on the rear arch underneath the bridge.

58.Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge:Fight against Shagohod – After the motorcycle part, when Volgin is on top of the Shagohod and begins chasing EVA, use the sniper rifle to scope out the base of the radio tower directly in front of you.The
frog can be found hangin’ out there.

The Final motorbike bits now, so remember to save in each area.

59.Fifth Motorcycle Area - Near the end of the area, you’ll run into three red-and-white barricades. The Kerotan is in between the left one and the middle one. I found this the toughest one in the game, having to reset multiple times, so don't be frustrated if it takes you awhile.

60. Sixth Motorcycle Area - After about 10 seconds you will pass a tree trunk on the right hand side of the path. A kerotan is standing in front of a boulder on the LEFT hand side. You'll probably want to use the RPG for this one.

61.Seventh (and final) Motorcycle Area - Again the RPG may come in handy for this one. Watch the left side of the motorcyclelike a hawk. The frog is sitting on top of boulder.

Well now that the hardest part is out of the way you can hit the final three frogs pretty easily.

62.Zaozyorje West - After the cutscene where the guards go into Caution mode, go down the left path until you get to the log bridge.Go halfway across the bridge, face left, and go into first-person mode.Against the wall on the right side, there is a ledge down in the crevasse with a Kerotan on it.

63.Zaozyorje East - Upon reaching the first intersection look for a tree. The Kerotan is directly behind it.

And onto the final froggie:

64.Rokovoj Bereg - At the centre of the map very slightly southeast, on top of a tree. Hit the final Kerotan and hope to God you didn’t miss any of his friends.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have hit all 64 kerotans. However if you did miss a few of the frogggies save your game at the end, load it back up and all those you hit will stay hit, so you can hunt down those you missed. If you have no idea which ones you missed use The GA-KO cammouflage and when you go near a frog you havent yet hit you will hear it croaking.
