Croc Hat and some other concerns.

The Croc Hat is on a large hill in the middle of the swamp area just past the factory on the Snake Eater mission. You have to go to the other side of the swamp, where you would normaly leave but instead keep going right till you get to a tree you can climb up. From there you need to shimmy across the branch out onto a rope and then drop down to another rope and get to the hill. There you can get the croc hat.

The first time i beat the game I didn't get the SAA either and i picke the revolver with the bullet. The second time around i did get the SAA and i chose the revolver without the bullet... Strange.

Don't believe these lies. You have a 1/3 "chance" of gaining a croc hat only by killing a croc. Details on how to accomplish getting a croc hat:

1. Find a live, uninjured gavial (if he is wounded, or shot even once with the Mk22, then it won't work).

2. Crawl directly towards the gavial, very, very slowly, armed with KNIFE ONLY.

3. The Croc will open and close his mouth once.

4. Slash at the croc's head 3 times only.

It should work, but sometimes, the angle of approach or timing is off slightly. If you fail, you will have to restore, or else find another uninjured croc. It is frustrating how long this process takes, but it WILL work.
