Insomniac Games' four player co-op title Fuse, previously known as Overstrike, has been delayed for between 1-3 months, according to the developer's Twitter account and EA's quarterly conference call. While the delay is unfortunate news, Insomniac is trying to make up for it, telling fans to expect, "TONS of new Fuse stuff coming starting next week."
According to COO Peter Moore, the added development time will allow Insomniac to put some, "extra work," into the title. Hopefully that doesn't mean microstransations. For Insomniac, the Resistance and Ratchet & Clank studio, Fuse will be their first foray onto the Xbox 360. Considering their last huge release, Resistance 3 was way back in 2011 and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time in 2009, I'm sure they're excited to get Fuse out on shelves.
We'll keep an eye out for the new Fuse information Insomniac promised would start rolling out next week. In the mean time, update your calendars and well, wait patiently.
