For all the flack gamers give Peter Molyneux, we as a community still show a keen interest in what the man says and does. Case in point? Curiosity, the experimental mobile game from Molyneux's studio 22Cans has seen some incredible activity, so much so that the developers are struggling to accommodate players. Guess we're all curious to see what's in that darn box.

While attempting to take part in this quirky social experiment, many players are greeted with error messages or finding their in-game tokens vanishing for no reason. 22Cans notes that they're aware of these problems and are trying to iron them out as quickly as possible. Currently, attempts to connect to the Curiosity servers are met with an "Error accessing server" message, and a prompt to retry. Over and over again. If you're persistent, you might actually get through at some point.

Basically, 22Cans wasn't anticipating that up to a million people who try accessing Curiosity at the same time. The end result got, well, messy, and for that, they do apologize. Even so, the studio is incredibly excited by all the attention their little experiment is attracting. They even made a little video message for the community:

Hopefully, they'll learn from Curiosity and be better prepared for their next experiment-game, tentatively named Co-operation right now. Beyond that, Molyneux has already teased another huge announcement on the way.
