There's one legend that hasn't been mentioned yet: DCRage. A site regular until the start of 2011, when he left the site, DCRage composed more User Reviews than anyone else has to date and was extremely active in the forums.

One area of activity I always noticed DCRage in was in the Sports Forum, who was a major part of keeping things active in the Sports Forum in terms of posting various sports-related news items. While they weren't in their own threads as they are now, it did keep things active (and that was well before I became a Moderator).

I remember him, but I just cannot remember what forums he was posting in, besides the Sports Forum.

Haha, don't worry about it. It gave me a good laugh. I've been mistaken for people like Q22 (and even some idiot named Krunal) before, so it's no big deal. I was just having a go.

Neoseeker is so vast. Each sub-community often has its own set of memorable/notorious members. I think "legend" is thrown around a bit too liberally, though. In my eyes, a "legend" of the site is someone who has made a significant impact on it as a whole and who has aided in shaping the site and community into what it is today through their actions either publicly or behind the scenes and in some cases has continued to do so for a significant period of time. A legend is someone who will be remembered for many years after they've departed by those who remember the history of the site when thinking about those who have shaped it; they're not simply your friends or those with fleeting popularity in the big forums. I'll go ahead and give you a list of those who I think meet that criteria in my opinion, in no particular order:

• Redemption
  
  This isn't just a token mention purely because he's the guy who made the site. Red works ridiculous hours at times to get things done here and has dedicated huge amounts of time to the cause. This isn't just a job for him; it's obvious he has an enduring love and passion for the site and what he does. His longevity in maintaining this enthusiasm when so many of us, including myself, have taken significant breaks from the site over the years is admirable and rather inspirational.
  
  
• VeGiTAX2
  
  Dedicated a huge amount of his time to the site in the past and continues to do so. Longest serving super moderator over his multiple runs in that role and even when not in the public eye he's often doing something for the benefit of the site behind the scenes. Top guy also.
  
  
• Superfast Oz
  
  Worked his way up the moderator ranks from the GTA3 days, with runs in Loungin' and RFS along the way to his promotion to super. Responsible for the Football forum's creation which went on to be a major community on the site. A key policymaker in the past and responsible for driving new approaches and ways of thinking to the fore during the site's navigation from its infancy into a world dominated by social media, often against the grain of more traditionalist thinking.
  
  
• Kuduros
  
  Another of our GTA3 guys who went on to moderate key areas of the site before being appointed as a super moderator. Worked tirelessly in RFS to make it a productive venue for members to get their voice heard about site features and later went on to be one of the most active super moderators of his era on the site.
  
  
• Section 9
  
  Helped shape Loungin' during his tenure there in the early days through his efforts as a moderator. Later went on to occupy core site positions and was instrumental in the modernization of the moderator application process back in the day. Another former super who was at the forefront in forming site policy back in the day also.
  
  
• Suikia/Lenia
  
  Heavily recognized among the site's PSO community, which was arguably the first community to achieve a high degree of popularity on the site preceding GTA 3, and went on to become a key influence in site-related boards as a moderator and one of the first super-level moderators by handling the old-style moderator requests system and being heavily active and helpful within the moderator community itself. When you ponder the question of who helps the helpers, that person was Lenia more often than not back in the day during the key formative years of the community and she was responsible for laying the foundations of what everything else was built from.
  
  
• AD Wyce
  
  The first super and someone who, like Lenia, was involved in building the foundations of what everything else was built from here in both the member and moderator communities. Was part of the original Loungin' trio, with mysteryman and dcdaytona, and also the site's pseudo originale. All supers derive from Wyce!
  
  
• Deathman48
  
  The most active super of his era, this guy has also put a ridiculous amount of time into the site in his efforts to improve things and shape policy over the years, as well as pushing forward new initiatives and generally getting stuff done. Another who won't be forgotten easily regardless of how long he leaves for.
  
  
• Yoshi
  
  Mention for Yoshi here as, despite most probably not knowing, this guy created many of the original smilies in use on the site. You see the results of his work in pretty much any thread you browse here!

I'm not saying a lot of others mentioned aren't memorable, but this is my personal list of those who I feel have made a real difference in how things work and how the site has grown over the years into what it is today. These are the people who I personally remember despite some being absent for some time such was their impact on the site and I believe they'll continue to be remembered by those who were around for a long time to come.

PS: I can confirm that Avalith is indeed Kevin26. I'm surprised no-one realized this sooner as both have a similar level of coherency. We allowed him to assume a new identity to try to reduce the grief people gave him but he gets ragged on 24/7 anyway so it's kinda a failed experiment.

I didn't even know you were still around, Sakura. You should join us in the lobby more often instead of being a stranger.

Dynamite - You forgot about Shadow on that list. She wasn't around for long but she was one of the nicest seekers that we had back in the day.

Crazy that was beginning of high-school... dude is probably all the way through college like everyone from that time.

I remember being with my roommate and we were laughing our asses off at a youtube video that I believe you created? Something about *bleep*ing Jigglypuffs. What was that????!

And the rest of my buddies used to make my times worthwhile since 2005...I miss them a lot and have been thinking of them, hoping they are doing great in their real lifes and find what they are looking for. They change me a bit, make me realize mistakes I made, improve my English skill (still work on it), and we tend to laugh, joke around, cry, share things, argue and have been through a lot of shit together. Also miss those pranks we used to pull on each other esp on MSN. That is how much impact they've made to my life...love you guys! <3
