I do agree with you but i did mention that taking both from the question seems like cheating the question. I stand by my decision if that having one excludes the possibility of the other then I'd go for money, but that's just me.

You know what, for all you people saying you can't buy happiness with money? Give me a few million pounds, because I'd love a chance to prove you wrong.

And for the people saying true love brings you happiness, I say that's wrong too. I have a girlfriend I am madly, truly in love with. I take the phrase "I would do anything for the one I love" seriously and I've gone to crazy lengths to make her happy, or even when she's already happy, just to get an extra smile out of her because I like to please her. I want to marry her and live the rest of my life with her and she is the most amazing person I've ever met and I would die for her in a heartbeat if I had to. I wouldn't even think about it. And despite that, lately, I've been depressed and down and even everything she does for me isn't making me happy because I'm always worried and paranoid. You know what would make me happy? Not having to worry about money and being unemployed and not having any useful college or uni degrees to get me a decent job to earn money to live on.

True love is more valuable than any sum of money. If I have someone who I truly love, and they truly love me back, I feel making money will be a whole lot easier.

But yeah, I hear you. Love is basically giving someone with the power to absolutely destroy you, but trusting them not to... I'd still choose it over all the money in the world, though.

I wasn't drunk, no XD although after reading it again I can see why you'd think I was. The first part was meant as a joke but I have an off sense of humour so I think I came off more angry than anything else.

When I looked at it before I read other people's comments and their responses kinda made me feel like either choice was meant as a downside in some way. Rich, but lonely. Loved, but poor. But really whichever you pick would be an amazing gift. I'd still choose money though. I like stuff.

Good, I'm glad to hear an answer like that which was indeed genuine! And hey, I saw that, I thought about the type of general answers I see on Neo, and I looked at the time (1am on a saturday night), I was like, "this guy is *bleep*ed!", haha.

To me, worrying about money is stressful. Having enough of it that I don't have to worry about it I believe is important.

I look at the money issue with the same mindset. I'm broke as it is but I don't want to be rich. I won't be happy that way but being able to have money to not worry about the basic things in life is good enough for me. I'll work to do something i enjoy, while paying bills and treating myself to something nice every once in a while.

Because it's friggin sexy when a guy can throw on an apron and cook food better than me, which isn't all that hard to do. I'm being serious.

I wouldn't know that much about cooking outside the basics because of a bad economy, which really limits what things I can try and what I can get regularly. Let's just say I know enough about cooking to get by, not much more than that.

I'd rather take true love. While the money would most definitely be a benefit because of the tough economic times and the job that I work (which doesn't always cover the cost of living), it wouldn't be worth it to me if there wasn't true love involved.

If it really is "True Love" and I truly love her and she truly loves me,then I choose true love, otherwise I choose money. I just wish there was some way to know if a person only loved you for your money.
