	Log in to remove this advertisement I'd do it for fun since it's been awhile since I picked up my camera anyways. And, on the topic of location, I was thinking about things places were known for and this is just an idea, but state birds, trees, flowers, etc. Might be a good way to show the differences place to place (State to state) and of course everything will be approached in a different manor so if two people are from Florida, their photos aren't going to look exactly the same. Or at least, shouldn't, haha. However, I know there are Neomembers who don't live in the States and I'm not sure if you guys have the equivalent to that... But other ideas from me are: Family, churches, graveyards, non-chained restaurants, and parks. -------------------

	Sounds like a fun idea! I'd rather do this without prizes though. If the purpose of doing this is to win a prize, then it becomes a competition as opposed to seeing a variety of creative photos from people... so it kinda takes the fun away. My friends and I did this a while back where we would have a very general theme, and we'd go and photograph whatever it is that we think fits best with the theme. I like this idea because (1) different people have different photography styles, so not limiting it to a specific object/thing would let people be more creative. (2) It would let those who do not have access to whatever specific object/thing to find an alternative. Example: If the theme is 'sky', then it gives people the option to photograph things like airplanes, birds, clouds, hot-air balloons, etc. ------------------- FF8 Forum \| http://ava-lanche.mybrute.com

	There is this thing that is done by one of the forums I'm in and it's done every year. It's a gymkana photography marathon sorta like... Teams with 6-10 members and each create a logo. There is also a jury of about 4-5 or whatever number of persons which think about the trials and post them. Trials such as: With a ps3, a wii and an xbox360 With a 42" tv screen Holding 20 games, 10 in each hand With a Chocolate Dr.Pepper diet can 2 members of the same team together With a real lion Stuff like that Not easy thingys like, picture of the sky of picture of your feet. In each picture the team logo has to appear, and the jury decides if the picture is inside the terms of the definition of the trial. It would be something like a 1-2 month competition with about 50 different trials. 	I'd be interested in taking part in something like this but sadly with work as well I don't think I'd have the time to be able to do too much. I'm trying to get back into my photography though and get some of my old pictures uploaded, but I'd sort of be stuck to what I could find within walking distance and I don't have a whole lot of free time as it is unfortunately. -------------------

	I'm gonna take the initiative here and be the first to post pictures using the idea that I mentioned on the previous page. Basically, take pictures of things that look like letters of the alphabet. quote Mnmfan Thanks for the notification. Instead random pictures how about making it something like a regular alphabet game but with pictures instead? Hear me out. Had this idea ages ago but never acted on it. You need to photograph something that looks like a certain letter (or number I guess). So for example if the current letter is 'S' perhaps there's a tree in your neighborhood that looks like an S. If the letter is L maybe two buildings in your city look like an L. If the letter is M, perhaps take a photo of a double arch. Just use your imagination. Could even be around your house. Clock on the wall could be an 'O'. A table might be shaped like a lower case N. So we could start with A and go through the alphabet. When someone posts a picture that looks like an A we move on to 'B' enz. Just an idea. Found my old camera and brought it with us when we took our daughter to a nearby park. Here are some natural letters I snapped before the battery died. Spoiler:Letter A Spoiler:Letter B Letter B was hard to spot but eventually I spotted this. Not a perfect B but good enough. Couldn't see a C but took some other letters while I was there. Spoiler:Letter U Spoiler:Letter V It seems nature is full with letter V. Took a few pics of V. Also managed to get a number 2 too. Spoiler:Number 2 So there you have it. 4 letters and 1 number after just 1 hour at the park. I really enjoyed it actually.
