Personal Space

i prefer to be alone, but i have no issues with being around others, though naturally id prefer friends over family. but then again, my alone time consists of me being social online through IRC and of course, neoseeker.

I am pretty patient when it comes to personal space. A dude could probably come up to me and squeeze my dick, and I wouldn't get angry right away. I do have my limit, however.

I know exactly what you mean. The first few weeks of summer I spent constantly surrounded by friends and activity, but now that I'm weeks into summer all I want to do is relax at home. I'm under the same spell you are, man. ;~; It is relaxing, but I hate how I'm not motivated to do as much right now.

I very much need personal space. Both in terms of spending time alone, and in terms of the physical space around me.

Its ashame, my grifriend is a snuggler and i am just... not. I do like a cuddle as in; Start cuddling... feel the love... right thats enough. But my GF likes to latch on to me. I dont really mind it, i just tell her to get off HAHA ! She knows what im like though. I also dont like being too warm and so like space in that respect.

Also, amongst my friend and family i play the role of "rock" i guess. I am constantly blasted with everyone elses problems which i dont mind doing, but it means i am expected to be strong willed and pretty emotionally stable. I guess I usually am, but that repsonsibility means i need a lot of time alone. I dont like talking about problems and for me personally talking does not solve anything so i spend alot of time on inner reflection. I guess i can also be kind of anti-social at times.

Another thing is the monotony of daily conversation. I find it difficult to fake interest in other peoples interests, relationships and standard conversations about family or especially work. (I c*nting despise talking about other peoples and my own work) I sometimes get almost depressed talking about the same boring shite day in day out and struggle to fake it for more than a few minutes at a time. On the flip side of that i spend a great deal of time thinking about spirituality, morality, politics, and especially cosmology and astronomy. Subjects most people find boring. So again personal time is kind of vital to me in that respect.

I also get a kind of reverse clostrophobia when souroudned by people, especially indoors. I hate crowded shops, buses, planes and elivators (i also have a fear of heights LOL) and cant stand people bumping into me or rubbing past me. And i dislike un-requested hugs or overly touchy-feely people.

So yeah, personal space. I honestly couldnt function without it.

I have no issue invading other peoples space, but when they invade mine I'm just like "fkjhfksd NO"

i dont really know the true meaning of personal space so i'll just asume it literally as "space that i own"

i'm territorial. i hate being physically close to other people, i have a line, a perimeter more like of every space i sit in. if someone crosses the line, i'm like GTFO.
in the sofa, if someone is about an inch close to me, from any part of the body but not quite touching, i dislike it, i'll kick that person away.
