Which do you prefer; first person games or third person games? - Page 4

I would have to say i prefer third person games...Reason being im a major RPG fan and RPGs are usually third person. But games like Skyrim are an exception. :I

I like third person more, but the only first person game I like is FE:A.

Very definitely depends on the game. I have to agree FP is more immersive sometimes though - I'm currently playing The Darkness and I can stand a lot of gore but this part with it being in FP made me feel queasy whereas notmally the gore wouldn't bother me if it was in third person.
For third person games though where there's more than one main character (and I'm talking like Final Fantasy main cast style) third person is definitely a lot better. It allows you to take more in but not always at the cost of being immersive for the player. They still manage to pull you in but it relies more on the story than what's happening around you.
