	Log in to remove this advertisement I have a habit of blowing this way out of proportion whenever I'm stressed, usually causing me to think something worse has happened or will happened that what actually has. So I try to keep this in perspective. I can only calm down by working the stress out through attrition, say by getting really angry and pissed off (maybe breaking something or hurtuing myself) or by forgetting about whats bothering me. Usually general life LOL. It is incredibly difficult but video games work very well here.

	i feel i have a very stress free life, so theres not much for me to stress over. however, when i do get put in stressful situations, i handle it perfectly. see, my mentality towards life is to just take everything, no matter how serious, as a joke. for really serious things, it looks like im being an ass, but if you a situation arises where you have to think fast and make important decisions, who do you think will have clarity of mind? -------------------

	A lot like in the pet peeves thread, ignorance of some people can get me stressed or people who are too pushy and too demanding. I also tend to get stressed due to my sheer extreme lack of patience when it comes to anything I do. Shopping, swimming or doing something constructive usually takes the edge off, and not too mention some alcohol. ------------------- Support the Grand Theft Auto V forum. If I can't do that though, I like listening to really long videos on youtube. I'll usually be drawing so I won't be watching, but I enjoy listening to someone like TheAmazingAethist talk for a good long while. -------------------

	I'm stressed most of the time due to something or another that has to be attended to, but the older I get, the less I feel bogged down by it. I usually cope with stress by throwing myself into my hobbies whenever I get a chance. Reading definitely helps lower my stress level, for sure. Losing myself in something else is my regular dose of stress relief. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but I do smoke pot to chill out on a regular basis to deal with it, but I find myself going to weed for stress-relief less and less lately. I smoke for recreation usually before I do something fun to chill out, so that just more or less comes along with whatever else I do for stress. Goes hand in hand really. Also, drawing definitely calms my tits. Makes me feel productive, and it's fun, which gives me a feeling of accomplishment. Most of my stress comes from a unjustified sense of being unaccomplished. Or from family/my girlfriend, one of the three.

Also, I think I'm doing fairly well compared to the past. Like I said, wouldn't necessarily recommend it to someone on a Neoseeker's board due to a major difference in beliefs/ages around here, just something I find is a super-easy shortcut to stress relief. And something that's worked for me for years.

	I usually read when there's a good book nearby or do something artistic. Video games work too. This is how I distract myself. I usually try to find activities, like art, that has something good come out of it. ------------------- #Art Central's GD
