Log in to remove this advertisement I always love it when people will try and use terminology that they acquired in college and use it around other people to somehow feel like they have a higher intellect. "You have to have gone to college to say something that stupid."  -------------------

I think my largest annoyance is people that pass something they read on the internet as their own knowledge/opinion. If that's the true subject of this thread. A lot of times when I find myself in a verbal debate or discussion with someone, I always end up hearing, "I read somewhere" or something along those lines. So it additionally bothers me that they aren't able to cite their source, nor are they able to adequately recall what the source said in the first place. When, if they actually took the time to acquire the knowledge, then digest it so it makes sense to themselves as well as to others, that it could then be used and applied in everyday life.
So what's even worse is people now state where they read something(i.e. - I read on facebook that), so that if what comes out of their mouth is false or wrong, they can fall back on saying, "Well I read it on facebook, so yeah." giving up any responsibility for what they assumed was factual. -------------------
