Yeah, some of us have kinda turned back the clock with this one that's for sure.

I hope the community we're able to build here is good too. When discussing this with tekmosis privately I mentioned the fact that I had drifted from the site in the past largely because of the lack of decent, meaningful conversation here. As I've grown older the stuff that was being posted on Neo, as well as the responses, just became less and less relevant and interesting to me. I made most of my social posting in other forums online instead of here in places which had a generally older membership (25+) for that reason.

Neoseeker is special to me, however. I've literally grown up with this site from when I was a teenager and spent countless hours here posting and doing various things. Instead of posting off-site in General Discussion boards I do find interesting/entertaining, I really hope we're able to bring a better discussion area to this site so it remains relevant for those of an older, or more mature, disposition who appreciate a better standard of conversation than what we have currently. I'm looking for an excuse to fall back in love with the site and this may well be it. Only time will tell.

Minor note, but the message that is displayed to members when posting only needs to be included in the message to display to everyone when posting in forum forum setting. It does not need to be in the messages to display when starting a new thread as the other setting will cover that. It's displayed twice right now when posting a new thread.

Anyway, I know what Enhance means about it feeling like '03 in here. Dynamite was doing some solid work with RFS while Slacker was part of a crew in Loungin' that made the place interesting and entertaining. Flash forward to now, and Dynamite is doing solid mod work again, Slacker is part of a crew making a forum interesting and entertaining, and I'm STILL a nubmuffin (Beat ya to it, Slack ol' pal! ).

I hope to be posting regularly, and I really hope to see the place thrive.

I was a bit surprised to be invited. I can only guess it's my mod status.

I think this will be a nice place to visit. Loungin' is ok but sometimes a bit immature for me.

Grats to the mods of this place as well .

Alright, I just got my invitation half an hour ago, and reading through this thread and the people posting, I'm surprised I've been invited so early on to be honest, not that I'm complaining at all. Is it possible to ask what sort of criteria people were looking for when looking for people to invite?

Even though it says I've only been a member since late 2010, I've actually used this site since 2004/2005 only on another account, so I know a few familiar 'faces'on here and I'm amazed I got invited so early on given the amount of well respected members on here with a lot of history and input towards this site, especially given the fact on this account I've only really spent time in the Call of Duty Black Ops/Modern Warfare 3 forums and the Gran Turismo 5 forums and I don't even spend barely any time at all in the original Loungin' forum.
