His impressive regenerative ability allowed him to climb out before he faded away and subsequently regenerate. Falling in the Slag also destroyed his limiter and thats why he is bigger, tougher and meaner. Like the Ustenak or whatever he is called. ------------------- Rest in peace Neil Armstrong

	Wesker also fell into a much bigger (and likely deeper) pool of lava and got hit with rockets while trying to climb out\dick with the helicopter. there were lots of pieces of ground such as Chris's boulder he could jump onto i suppose, but at that moment he was focused on trying to kill Chris and the girls. im not saying he's dead but i also dont think he just walked away without a scratch. no doubt he's spent the years since RE5 licking his wounds and coming up with a vengeance plan whilst resuming his stupid plan of infecting everyone with the Oroboros stuff, or perhaps something else now.
