	I was talking about RE1. I liked RE2 a lot, however. You didn't really have access to "super" weapons there. RE3 had assault rifles and shit. They only used up one inventory slot, allowing you to carry moar gunsss. Easy mode in RE3 was pretty much action-horror mode, haha. ------------------- [RE6]

	RE3 had a classic example of shit difficulties. Easy mode gave you enough ammo to waste a whole clip on every wall in the game, and Hard gave you so little you were ecstatic when you simply got Gunpowder A, the most basic type. 	Pretty much. But they didn't they add 3 difficulties in some later version? in before EASY, HARD and NIGHTMARE. :/ ------------------- [RE6]

You had a grenade launcher that could hold INFINITE AMMO in RE2. And the custom shotgun and custom magnum. Not to mention the submachine gun. All pretty devastating and with plenty of ammo. Compare that to RE1 in which the "Bazooka" only held 6 shots and was awkward to reload. And had relatively little ammo. Though I will admit the last couple of times I played RE1/REmake, I ended up with a craptonne of spare ammo of all kinds at the end of the game. -------------------

	Yeah, but at least you had to find the parts for them which I tend to oversee. The infinite ammo has to be something you need to unlock. I do admit the submachine gun is pretty overkill. The reason why I came to this crazy conclusion is indeed the fact, that I ended up with so many rounds towards the end of RE1. As where my RE2 playthrough went pretty bad and I was more adapt on trying my best to survive. I dunno, I just had the same survival feelings in RE2 that I got from other horror games where you absolutely have NO self-defense. (straight up survival-horror.) I just smile a little when someone says, "bring back survival horror!". I always felt the action-horror there in RE. With RE4, they decided to reverse the genres and focus more on action-horror and less on survival. Now it's just plain action, haha. Anyone gets my point? ------------------- [RE6]

	Silent Hill loaded you up on ammo like hell, too. I think that's where people miss the point. It's about atmosphere and pacing, not 'OMG SOME DAMN MONSTER POPPED OUTTA NOWHERE' type shenanigans. Old RE games didn't quite do it for me. They were either easy as balls and unfun or hard as all hell and... still unfun. Silent Hill was fun for me because of the atmosphere it built up. The confusion it held. Grotesque child monsters grabbing at your knees in dark hallways while you run around a school with no real sense of what's going on... that's horror to me. I still wanna play Fatal Frame, though. I hear those games are scarier than all the SH and RE games combined.

	Only got to play SH2, 3 and the wii one. Yeah, they surpass RE in actually making you piss your pants. Fatal Frame is also a good example of survival horror that doesn't give you defensive assets. Shattered Memories was pretty good too. You pretty much had the SH atmosphere building up while your only tool was a flashlight. Really great game imo! ------------------- [RE6]

The grenade launcher in RE2 lets you stack an infinitely large amount of ammo onto the same slot as the weapon. 	Couldn't the grenade launcher hold 999 rounds in REmake? Is this infinite capacity only in RE2? I know a google search would clear that up for me, but I might as well just ask you guys. ------------------- [RE6]

	Well it might be 999 or something. I don't know. I never tried putting that much in because you never find that many shots without cheating. For all practical purposes it's infinite capacity. It's really stupid that the one in REmake holds 999. Should be 6 based on the same weapon in RE1. -------------------

	I think the highest i got in one go (RE2) was like 60something. Which is fairly ridiculous. EDIT: Didn't the bowgun in CVX have a similar infinite capacity? ------------------- Check out my Youtube Channel!
