It was though a cheat, i dont know the exact cheat but if you have installed Nightlife, then it won't work.

Morty only comes in day time if sim is looking through th scope in pleasentview and in Veronaville i have had the old grey haired guy do it when they look through it in day time so as said even killing him off will only cause someone else to take hisplace.
It is fun locking sims in little fences with no gates though i had a whole yard full either that of shoving them in with a hungry cowplant.

Of course with the Inseminator you can kill them off by a lot of methods death by Flies is my favorite I have killed plenty including morty like that in a past game
I have rest my game though a few times so i can play with the families brand new again All you do is cut and paste downloads to desktop. delete the sims 2 folder in my documents
start game exit game add the downloads folder back start game turn on custom content turn off pop up and restart game again and you are back to the start with the game Just like when you first installed only thing is you do lose ALL sims and stuff so be sure to package and move to desktop anything you really want to keep
It also takes a few minutes to load the first time as it has to redo everything. It beats reinstalling though


As far as the blur you can remove it with the following if you have NL or OFB

If a sim lives on their own they will bring there full net-worth with them, if they live with other sims they bring 10% of the familie's money. You could move her in with a poor family, then she'll bring very little money with her.

Boolprop can kill Mortimer and your game.
