Hey

http://www.neoseeker.com/members/edit_profile.html?edit=change_passwordHere's some guidance on passwords taken from elsewhere:
quote- Should be between 8 to 20 characters in length. Anything shorter than 8 is not sufficiently secure.
- Should contain upper-case, lower-case and numerical characters.
- Should NOT use dictionary words.
- Should NOT contain your real name, username, phone number, favorite football team or anything else that may somehow be related to you and expected to be used.
- Should NOT contain common sequences, such as: abcde, 12345, qwerty, etc.
- Should NOT be the same password that you use on any other site or area.
- Should NOT be distributed to friends, family, anyone. Period.
- Should NOT be written down.
- Should NOT be stored/saved on public computers. Do not check "automatically log me in" or request that your browser's auto form complete function fills it in automatically if in a public place or if using a shared computer.
- Could contain symbols, such as: ! “ < > to make the pass more secure.
- Could contain space-bar characters for further security.
- Could be changed on a frequent basis. Consider changing passwords at least once every few months.
Here's an example of a secure password: T1mp!GmiUc.
It may seem difficult to remember, but it was actually comprised from a sentence:
This
1s
my
password
! Guess
me
if
U can
.If your password is a dictionary word, a common sequence or appears in a list of
top 100 actual passwords typically used you should change it immediately.
