	Log in to remove this sponsored message I don't actually want to do this myself, I am just very curious... how do people like L have one letter usernames, yet when you sign up, it tells you your username has to be at least 3 characters long? 	If that's the case, the limit was imposed pretty recently, because L's only had his since 2008. Not sure why this interests me so much.

	It actually was. I think it was 2010 (but someone correct me if I'm wrong). Lots of people have short usernames. ZL comes to mind. -------------------

	Verm's got it correct. The downside for those users is that the @ mentions will not work for them (no one can @ them). -------------------
