Sorry, not playing right now. My save data dissappeared. It was a good game, I just don't feel like picking it up when I could be playing other games with times I have.

I still remember this game. My best friend says that it's would be the best Final Fantasy game ever created if the graphics like on the same level as the gameplay.

The best FF game for me is FF6 ... tat game is truly superb. FF5 is 2nd.
And yeah ... Square should remake it for PS2 with newer graphics and beefed up characters. Even if they do not change the storyline, the game still be liked by others. There's a hope for it ... FF12 for example is said to be set in the same world as tat of FFT (Avalice if not mistaken). So maybe they will do a sequal or something for FF6 and 5. PS : FF5's last dungeon is one of the hardest in any games I have played. Level up past level 65 if ya wanna finish the game.

Ever heard of the word spoiler?
Only thing I think is lacking in this game is a good place to level up. In FF4, the Land of the Summon Monsters are a very good place to level up. I managed to level up from level 60 to 80+ in about 6 - 8 hours there and have tons of money. In FF6, the Ruin world will be full of hard to defeat monsters and the leveling is not as hectic as other games. In FF5, if ya don't have about level 70 when ya reach the final boss, there is a chance ya won't win the game. The last boss is quite tough and damn fast. Huh? Wat? Kuja was a GUY? Didn't know tat.

The pre Playstation era of Final Fantasy games boasted games of difficulty and challenge. This is how the series should be today, but I find to be quite lacking in.
As for Faris being a female. It's not really a spoiler. I mean look at her. She looks femanine as it is. I knew she was female even before that scene. -------------------

Agreed Matt, love the fact these games were actually difficult at the time. Very few games offer that level of difficulty today. Also it's not that many people don't play this game, I assure you there are many. Just many have moved on to other games. I sure would like to replay this game again for good memories.

Final Fantasy V runs rings around Final Fantasy X-2 and they used similar skills systems, and the Job system. It was easy to build up your AP in X-2, however it took considerably longer in V. That's what I liked about the game.

I would prefer FFV over FFX-2 any day of the week. Every but the graphics was better IMO and FFX-2 was very disappointing to me. Seemed more like Female Fantasy XXX-2 to me.

RPG_Master44 :-
Agreed. It took me 5 seconds of watching the beginning movie in FF-X2 to know tat I gonna hate the game. Wat were they (Square) thinking? Matt_Addison :- Excuse me, Matt ... but there is little in common between Job System in FFV and FFX-2. Even so the beginning is the same, but the details are different. In FFV, ya cannot get important skills (like X-Fight and X-Magic) without getting all others first. In FFX-2, ya don't need to learn one skill to get others and I have learn important stuff like Cura, Curaga, Regen etc without event mastering any of them. The shrads in FFV gave the users their powers. In FFX-2, its their dress. A bit similarity, I guess. In FFV, ya can combine skills from various skills easily. In FFX-2, ya need items to combine skills. In FFV ... ya cannot change dress in mid fight cos it is STUPID. In FF-X2, the gals were stripping butt naked in public in order to get the proper skills. It WAS Stupid.

i am glad that they have downgraded the difficulty in the newer FF's. cause isn't it supposed to be a about the great story. that said there do need to be difficult places, like when your goin to some secret area or trying to earn some special job class or summon. but i dont need all that difficulty all the time.

i gotta agree, FFV is a very challenging game, a while ago i played it and got to the final boss at level 35, as you can tell i got practically 1 hit ko'ed by the boss and then theres no were to level up at that part of the game, so now ive decided, ages on since then that im gonna start a new save.
Enjoying it, Just done the fire castle, remembering to level up although im only level 15 or so. FF Games should be a lot harder nowadays then they are, i mean look at FFX, that game took me less than a week to complete with no difficulty at all =/ And yeah, i found FFX-2 to be a complete joke, although i never finished it and despise the game i have a strange feeling that makes me want to pick it up and finish it just so i can say thats another FF finished. ------------------- ![]() ![]() FFF <3's Sazzii

I have finished FFX-2 with 70+ completion, a friend of mine named Andrew finished it with 99+ (1% less cos ya have too choose between New Yevon and the other guys). Trust me ... I wish I could forget about them.
FF5 is still the best for me, and I love a game which a has a certain level of hardness in them. Too easy, ya won't be motivated to defeat the boss and feel the trill of battle. If ppl don't feel the trill of battle, I don't know why they play.
