The early buzz

Alright, so I viewed a "Let's Play" vid on Youtube that has since been taken down by the user so that his account wouldnt be obliterated. This video, combined with several posts across multiple boards all give pretty much the same information.


The game's story is around 9 hours, and to do every side crime, mission, and challenge at least one time takes around another 10-12 hours. This isnt counting going after collectibles.

So what we've got here is about a 20-22 hour span of gameplay before we start getting into repetetive events.

For finishing the main story, the player is awarded the Cross-Species Spider-Man costume.



For 100% completion, the player is awarded the Spider-Man 3 Black Suit.



So at least 3 alternate costumes will be available for people without online access. Spidey with no Belt, Cross-Species, and Black Suit.

The guy doing the "Let's Play" said that the game was "Absolutely worth a purchase" when asked in his comments section. Pretty good sign when someone grinds out an entire video walkthrough of the entire game and recommends buying it.

Edit: Almost forgot to mention that pretty much across the board, the general opinion is that Sam Riegel, the actor voicing Spider-Man, nails the character. Praise goes from simply saying the guy did a great job, to this is who they should use for every Spider-Man game going forward. That sounds really good to me, especially after the poor job of voicing Spider-Man that was done in Web of Shadows.
