Nightwing, and Robin both have very different fighting styles, as well as gadgets to use in predator challenges.

Catwoman has her own parts in the story, as well as her challenge maps also.

Combine all of those with Harley Quinn's revenge (and hopefully the Batsuit collection but Im not certain) and Id definately say that the GOTY edition is worth getting.

So for someone like me, who doesn't have Arkham City, if and when I get it, that would be the way to go then?

Definately. There's no reason not to get all that stuff with one purchase. Im not sure if it comes with all the alternate costumes or not, but I dont know why it wouldnt.

As for a re-buy for someone who already has the game and already has Nightwing, Catwoman, and Robin...

BTW, Im gonna go ahead and turn this thread into the first General Discussion thread here so it doesnt seem wierd to be talking Batman in a Spider-Man forum. Heh.

I will say that there was a time that I mightve verbally assaulted you for that, Lavitz but over the years Ive really gotten into the Batman comics and stuff. Two already great films, with most assuredly a third blockbuster on the way combined with Frank Miller's work really got me into checking out what the Batman universe had to offer.

Its no question that these past two Batman games have been superior to not only the Spider-Man games out there, but the great majority of other games out there as well.

My personal favorite costume in AC is Dark Knight Returns from Frank Miller's graphic novel. Even coming out of retirement he was still able to outwit and lay a beatdown on freakin Superman. Great character, and really the only character in the DC universe that actually interests me. The rest are like Gods that walk among men, but Batman, he's human.

I'm more of a Marvel man myself, the New 52 is cool but I grew up on Iron Man. I got those huge paperback novels of the old comics and read as much as I possibly could before I had to give it back to the library.

I'm not totally against DC though, my top three list is Iron man, Spider-man and Nightwing so it gets a little love.

You know, i'm starting to feel like a kinder-gardener among college grads here. Everyone but me has 1000+ and i'm barely at a hundred, its pretty humbling.

Okay, this is a discussion Ive had over and over with my friends and co-workers, and Im just going to throw it out here.

The movie, Spider-Man 3. If you could only pick one flaw with it, what is the biggest flaw that sticks out in your mind more than the rest? Ill reserve mine until I hear what you guys think.

I think the one biggest flaw is that they frantically rushed in FOUR villains and tried to resolve way too much in one movie. New Goblin, Venom, Sandman, and the Symbiote were just way too much. That should have been two different movies in my opinion. Spidey 3 should have been all about Pete's emotional "battle" with the Symbyote and either Goblin or Sandman. Then the movie should have basically ended with him ripping off the suit in the church, and Brock becoming Venom, unbeknownst to Pete. Then Spidey 4 could have picked up with Venom as the main villain.

Oh and I also think that a lot of the dialog and writing was a bit corny and sappy and the emotional component WAY overdone.

Oh wait, that's two flaws.

Honestly, I enjoyed Spider-Man 3 quite a bit, I think Tobey Maguire did a great job and he had me laughing when he was acting all suave. Also I think i'm one of two people who didn't totally hate Kirsten Dunst as MJ, she may not have been the perfect fit but she wasn't bad.

On to the negative stuff, I definitely agree there was waaaay too much in that movie, plus I didn't like Sandman at all. Harry was a little wimp who didn't deserve the goblin's mantle, and I think in the whole plot of the movies they rushed him out of school way too quickly.
