Hi, I always play with the Steelers against a friend who plays with the Eagles. He always runs with McNabb on the outside and makes about 20yds or more. Does anybody know a good defense play against that? OLB Blitz doesn't work!

qb spy or double qb spy. If not then try some zone plays.

Make your CBs cover the flats, as soon as his qb comes close to the ine they will go after him. QB spy helps too. Spread your DL into pass rushing modes, Zone is the best to stop a running qb.

McNabb is RELLI annoying to play against. hes strong as hell, has a STRONG arm and can run. The steelers LB's shood be able to contain him tho. They're all pretty fast and strong the secondary isnt that gr8 tho.

I'd just like to say that I think its a lot harder to make QBs fumble on this game than it is in real life. Its ridiculous when someone like Culpepper can run several times on you and never fumble, and he has some of the smallest hands of QBs in the league.

Just use the other suggestions above, and with any luck you'll injure or kill McNabb and your friend will be in serious trouble then if thats a main part of his game.

On known passing downs spread your d-line out wide. If you have fast enough ends they should contain him. Also you're better off with a good zone than QB spy. I prfer cover 2 against running QB's. If you do run the spy though use the one from nickel. The extra DB gives you extra speed on d.

The thing about zone and not QB spy, is some times the zone guys are dumb as nails and they just sit there and watch he QB, and sime times they dont even go after him right away once he crosses the line. The flats will go after him tho

No shit? Where'd you come up with such an amazing idea. That's the question, how do you keep him, and the other speedy QB's, from running all over you?

yall say mcnabb is fast, try vick lol. but just go into a dime formation n get a spy or double spy play. or if u think ur dl and some lb's can, then use nickel-middle blitz. just spread them to the outside *L1 then up*. that has ur dl which is 4, and then 2 lb's blitz so it's 6 on usually 5 or maybe 4. n the best part, the 2 lb's blitz from each side so it's not like he only has to avoid the right side or left side n go the other way....they come from each side.

the best way to stop any type of player is by signing big ole Gilbert Brown he is a free agent and is a 71 overall but when u look closer you find out hes one of the most efficient run stoppers of all time he weighs in at 350 and has a 94 Strength!!! and a 92 Tackle!!! the critics say his 30 speed makes him unplayable but even when he doesnt get the sacks he's forcing the qb to throw it away,throw on the run, or scamble right into someone else.

spread ur lines and play as ur MLB....when he starts running take him down....if u can rush from one side and switch to another line backer on the other side u can drop him for a loss
