	Log in to remove this sponsored message quote svtjackal I think that the delay on the realease date might be to get the game further away as possible from all this gun controversy talk, hopefully by sept all this talk will die down barring another sicko going on a shotting spree I seriously doubt they would push back a games release just to avoid some sensitive pricks complaining. These days shooting sprees seem to be becoming increasingly common. What if another shooting happens in August? Will R* push the release back to 2014? I really doubt that. I'm a little disappointed that we won't see the game before summer. This summers is going to be really boring for me and a new GTA game would have really perked it up.

	I'm a bit disappointed with the news, I was really looking forward to playing the game quite soon. But I guess if it makes the game a lot better then it'll be worth it. It does seem like they've just announced a random date though. September 17th is so far away and it seems so arbitrary, almost like they've thought "bleeping hell, all these internet twats won't shut the bleep up about a release date or the PC version, let's just give them a random date to shut them up". Also, does anyone know what the "conspiracy theories" are that Rockstar mentioned in regards to the delay? And can someone sum up if there's been some sort of law introduced or changed to do with 'violent games' please.

	I have taken the liberty of annotating R's statement with some comments. Im just annoyed and taking out my frustration on R. Im not being too serious. It doesnt do my confidence well. Who's to say we wont get another delay? Then again it is nice to have a confirmed date... I do actually believe it will be worth it. Just cant help being dissapointed. Its actually the lack of other decent games im really dissapointed in. Wish R* had just not released the 1st trailer so early. Appologies for my pessimism and negativity.

	Rockstar has done a lot of things wrong recently. Let's take a look. Rockstar released the first trailer way too early. It was over a year between it and the second trailer. They very abruptly pushed the release date back, leaving us with vague information regarding why. They promised us box art that they never delivered upon. Moreover, they didn't even seem to acknowledge this in the slightest. Don't get me wrong. I'd rather have a polished game than an incomplete one, but Rockstar could have handled this situation a lot better. Polish your game, but better inform your fans of what's going on and when they can expect new information, rather than infuriating them with a lack of communication.

	cancelled my pre order yesterday..I dont have $60 for this when next gen consoles might come out within months of this game. Plus, NHL 14 comes out one week earlier, and these are the only two series of games I care about anymore. Well, one series now. This is pretty much my official goodnight to gaming. ------------------- Hmm
