Trevor Philips

When you look up his name, it lists many about some UK dude that is involved in equal rights and is a chemistry major. Apparently he is under controversy. It is probably nothing but R* people started it all somewhere in England. Maybe could be worth checking more out to this guy to gain clues on the game. I like to reach for the stars, so if Im wrong i don't care lol

Interesting fact, GTA is a British product. Started in the mid 90s by a Scottish game company called DMA Design, now known as Rockstar North, this is now one arm of the Rockstar brand which publishes the game. Rockstar Games are owned by Take-Two Interactive. The head company is based in the New York offices of T2I, but the game is still developed in Scotland. Sam and Dan Houser though, the head executives of the head company are English though.

EDIT: Ah wait, I see. One of the main characters is called Trevor Philips, the balding guy (i.e. him) This is what GameFront has on the guy:

Probably just a coincidence with the name. Although he's actually got 2 Ls not 1 in his name, which would make it an entirely different person, since that guy you seem to be talking about only has the 1 L.

You take the most generic, common name ever, and try to stir up some story because there's a guy with the same name living in the same country as R*? Even if the name weren't the most common name ever (which it is), that's useless information. Go to Facebook, type in Trevor Phillips (or any other name you can think of), see how many you get. Heaps.

And based on what? Since when have Rockstar ever, ever, ever put real life characters into their games? Ever? The closest you get is some of the radio personalities, but main characters?

I'm sorry, but this is too far. We have people trying to find out stuff about the game, people reading into little things way too far, and we have people making stuff up based on absolutely nothing. This thread falls into the latter. It's too far.
