Have a classic hip hop station (not just the genre, but anything pre 2000), current r&b and rap station, a current popular music station, classic rock station, soft rock station, an indie station, metal station, and maybe an electronic/dance station, and of course some really good talk ones. i agree 100% with all of you . i am a BIG BIG fan of GTA games and in GTA1 it was more ok song BUT they had the ORIGANLE GTA song it was a cool rap song and rapped about EACH LETTER G . T. A. was an ok song.

THAT IS THE KEY HERE FOLKS was the 1ST GAME i KNOW of to have REAL HONEST SONGS not any of this MUZACK / ELEAVATO / INSTAMENTAL STUFF m REAL PEOPLE SINGING REAL SONGS THEN in GTA2 the FUNNY COUNTRY style song the BALLED OF CHAPTED LIPS CALHOON. in GTA LONDON 69 mostly strang BUT more ENGLISH songs EVEN a reall good RIP on BOND JAMES BOND 007 THEME SONG a VERY GOOD LIKE NESS .

THEN the INDRUSY CHANGER GTA3 OMG this was AWESOME and most songs were ok BUT the ONLY one i liked were all from the DARK HIT MOVIE SCARFACE my fav was and is PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT.

then OMFG HOLLY FREEKING CRAP OMFG WOW THEN CAME GTA VC THIS was on a PLANET millions of LIGHT YEARS BEYOND ANY GAME EVER it had the REAL HIT SONG BY REAL HIT SINGER all were amazing hit LIKE AFERICA . I RAN SO FAR AWAY and OF CORE OZZY BARK AT THE MOON then i agree the RAP and so on IN GTA SA just CAPTURED THE FEL and LIFESTYLE SO SO SOOO AMZINGLY .

THEN CAME the DUD GTAIV not any REALLY GREAT song a few good ojne like JAIL BREAK and her strut and the ONLY one i like STREET KIDS . THEN the addons IMO brought back the 80S HITS look up the list on the net OR youtube and judge your self . LETS hope GTA5 B IS MORE LIKE GTA SA and GTA VC MANY great 80s ROCK a lot of good RAP and so onand PLEASE BRING BACK K-ROSE but make it with song from the 70s to NOW like JERRY REED ALABAMA/ALAN JACKSON and TOBY KEETH and NOW folks like KEATH URBAN ERICK CHURCE RASCAL FLATTS and THE ZACK BRON BAD

If there's an EDM station hopefully there's some deadmau5, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Skrillex, Nero and others.

Ohhh im gonna hate this games soundtrack LOL. I want classics or at least stuff from the 80's and 90's. I am so out of touch with and disinterested in modern music that I know im in for a very, very poor audio experience.

Oh well, at least the rest of the game looks good. I have no hopes for a decent dountrack. GTAIV's was one of the wost i had ever heard until Forza Horizon came out. That soundtrack makes me see why people kill themselves. Mneh, at least my negativity means i could be pleasantly surprised and shouldnt be dissapointed if its just a really poor mixed bag of contemprary shite like last time.

What i'd really like is a station made up of music from other GTA games. Then i'd be guarenteed some decent music. I'd also like an old fogie sstation playing genuine classical music, maybe some old Jive tunes. A bit of classic Jazz thrown in. That'd be good for atmosphere i think.

And in a purely personal and selfish sense I'd really like a kind of 90's alternative station with bands like "tool", "Primus" maybe some older "RHCP" stuff. I'd like to hear some of SOAD's first album and maybe some Prodigy. But thats just me saying what i like. Not very likely.

Yes. yes and did i mention yes? Not usually my thing but in this case i definately make an exception. "G for grand theft auto you gotta make a mark and mov where you want to. T for theft, determination...." Aww its bad i still know the words.

The problem with the soundtrack in IV and III is that they're modern music. Modern music can be pretty shit. It's all about getting a hit for a few weeks then fading away. There aren't as many lasting classics. No one's going to give a shit about Katy Perry, or The Used, in 10 years time. And more so for Jason Derulo, because he's a dunce.
The best soundtracks come from when R* use an older period.

That said I'm confident they can and will bust out some modern classics for V. With IV they had so much other work to do, creating a new game for new hardware. I reckon this time the radio will get more attention, like it did in VC and SA.

Lazlow will be in there, he's currently employed by Rockstar and has a hand in creating not just his radio, but most of the radio and advertising in the game.

I will say this about modern music: I want Taylor Swift in the game.

KDST with more classic rock, and K-rose with more country. That's about it.
