question How violent do you want it?

Personally i'd like as close to photo-realistic violence as possible.

Shotgun to the head? Splatter.

Run over by a bus? Trail of blood and body parts staining the road.

Grenade at your feet? Blown apart and dismembered.

I know it wont happen though. Violence and gore in games has went backwards in recent years. I miss the likes of "Soldier of Fortune".

I'll go with Rude_Boy_Loves_SKA and Gregm to an extent and say i want realistic gore, but lets remember what we are saying here.

- I use shotguns alot, a point blank shotgun headshot is going to be gory.
- Many of the weapons in GTAIV were explosive sor used explosive rounds. Very gory.
- A bus or train running someone over and dragging them down the street is usually pretty horrendous looking. My mum is an A&E nurse. I hear all the stories.
- Falling from a high building rarely ends well.
- Being minced by helicopter blades... well...
- Ejecting from a crashing jet at Mach 1 into a paved carpark would be pretty bad.
- Motorcycle accidents... ewww.

So that being said how realistic do we want it? Personally i'd be happy with total realism as described, but i doubt thats what you guys meant. I think you were going along the lines of more sedate and relaxed realism.
