GTA V Off-Topic General Discussion II: Video Games - Page 11

That sucks. I used to live in NC, about 3 hours from the coast. So we'd get a lot of wind and rain from hurricanes, and some pretty bad storms. They don't really destroy houses, but the do do a bit of damage.
I have family that lives in Florida, though. So I can imagine.

Right now I live in tornado alley. Kansas.
I've been through a bunch of them already, even though I've only been here a few years. All the buildings on post are all old solid brick buildings though- so they don't do much damage to those.
I've never been effected by them at all. The worst was 2 years ago where a tornado touched down one night during Bradley training. But we just buttoned up the hatches and slept through it.


Also- for your video-
It still didn't grab my interest in Halo 4. And it was mostly about multiplayer- which I was never worried about.
I was actually interested in Halo's story. I guess there will be Forerunner enemies now... somehow. So was kind of spoiler for me.
It still just seems... tacked on. Like they only made the game to make money.

Yeah, that's what I figured.
So it looks like the multiplayer is being tailored to compete with Call of Duty (which doesn't make any sense to me- Halo is a Juggernaut in it's own right), while the Campaign is being tailored to the superfans.

Like I said- I hated the books. Well, book. I read one, thought it was pretty bad- started to read another, and just gave up after the first chapter.

For me- and I'm sure a lot of people- Halo's story was the trilogy, ODST, and Reach.
I was perfectly happy with a more melancholy ending with the Master Chief drifting off into space at the end.
I'm one of those people who doesn't need everything explained to him- I like an air of mystery.

Looks like aswm has moved to the Saints Row the Third forum in force, filling the first page of the forum with posts..

Great to be here. I think GTA V is the only game coming up that I'm actually excited about.

I have Borderlands tomorow then Forza Horizon next month but from there on out its looking bleak.
