GTA V Off-Topic General Discussion II: Video Games

I was given permission. Anywho, Max Payne 3. Question. Do I have to play the first two games to understand this one, or will they catch me up to speed?

Also, anyone up for a GTA V Community Playdate?

I enjoyed max payne 3 even though I didn't play the previous games.

I'm a eunuch so I'm clean.

It does help but I think just playing the first gives you enough of an understanding of why he is how is tbh. I haven't played the second so I'm unaware if there's stuff I'm not getting that's fairly important to the script, I wasn't left clueless at the end anyhow so I'm making an assumption on that.

Alternatively, if you want to pick up the story but don't have a means of playing the originals, just go on YouTube or whatever, there's bound to be a playthrough there. You're not really missing out if it's just the story you're interested in.

Bought Max Payne 3 today. It's really cool.
Pretty much a standard shoot em' up, with polish.
Really cool stuff like bullet holes in clothes, bloody, gaping exit wounds, and how max actually crashes into walls while he's diving.
The only thing that annoyed me was that when I was shooting people with an M82 .50 cal, I wasn't cutting people in half.

Also, I'm playing the game drunk for a more immersive experience.

Stitch, no, it was a kindergarten boy. Was creepy. And that's barely okay. Most shows won't even show guns.

Can't show guns on MTV, the SA trailer had all the guns edited out.

Umm... they don't even show music anymore.
They're highest-rated show is Jersey Shore.

MTV has been terrible for over a decade.

Meh, I'd say for the last 5 years. There was a pretty good mix of music and reality tv then, but once Teen Mom and Jersey Shore came on, it's all been downhill.

I actually like the Real World Challenges

I don't mind MTV, but I think they should definitely change their name if they are going to continue to NOT play music.
