	Zipper has already announced that a 2-player mode will NOT be included. Several times. As have every gaming magazine that "sampled" the game.

	Whitecloack is right they will not include it. Just in case they change it I will leave this open.. But the chances are low.

	That stinks. Conflict Desert Storm has an offline 2 player mode, so why shouldn't SOCOM games? -------------------

	Its probably because Socom is mainly for online games. Although I do think it would be nice to have a spilt screen mode, they would rather focus all on Online.

	By 1-4 players they don't mean for off-line mode they mean for Online Mode. And I think they meant 1-16 players.

	They definately will NOT have any offline multiplayers in this game. The Multiplayer is for online, there is no need for an off line version. IMO the only people who would actually like this are people who dont have broadband, and unfotunately you are in the minority. The original concept of Socom is working out fine and you wont see any major changes.

	Isn't lan for online Computers..? I think link up is for the consoles. Although Socom 2 won't have spilt screen mode I am not sure about link up.. Probably not though.

	hehe, you can go LAN by just buying some cables for like, 10 bucks, yes, you CAN go LAN thruogh internet, but you dont have to...of course, this method you would need two TV's and two PS2 ------------------- www.neogeneralclan.blogspot.com

	Yap indeed you need to buy a network lan wire if you want to hook up two ps2 to play with your so calles buddies in your house, but why spend for this why dont you go and buy x-box instead of another ps2 x-box also has a lot of online games if you dont know especially ghost recon.....

	of course becuase we all tell our friends to bring over their tvs, ps2s, link cables, socom 2 games, controllers, and then set it up just to play socom with them on a link game. I think that link games and LAN parties only work with computers unless by link you mean the way socom works -------------------
