this is so good! congratulations on everything so far. you should be getting quite a hefty transfer budget and wage budget next year and be able to attract some really good talent and have a big squad for the European games you'll be playing.

 25 and Still Jobless – 2016-17 Season – End of a Challenge  This was it, this was the month that was so important in my eyes, the month that could decide whether or not I was going to lead Birmingham City to the Champions League for the first time in the club's history. There were still Chelsea and Liverpool still to worry about really, and we needed 7 points to be sure that we were in the Champions League next season.  However, we didn't get 7 points, we only got 6. You would not have believed just how close it was to being 7 points this month, but that was cancelled out by a late winner for Sergio Aguero for Manchester City to collect his second of the game on his way to collect the Top Goalscorer of the Year. Still, we managed to get two wins out of three, I only hoped that Liverpool and Chelsea failed as well.  In the League, we actually did it, I had done it, Birmingham City were going to be in the Champions League as a result of their greatest ever position in the league. Amazingly enough, we knew that Liverpool weren't going to be a problem when they lost to Blackpool, one of the three relegated sides. Still, Chelsea pushed us until the last game of the year, though they had to try and beat Manchester City, while we managed to pull of the victory against West Brom, even after we were playing with 10 men for 85 minutes. When the result was confirmed, I merely took my time to walk out into the pitch as my players and the fans celebrated our success. The fans flooded the pitched, and I started to chant one word, that will forever go down in history as the beginning of something incredible for Birmingham City. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!" I roared this out loud, pumping my right arm in the air repeatedly. The fans started to repeat this chant and before I knew it, everyone in the stadium, including the players, including my backroom staff was chanting this as well. It was the day where everyone chanted as one, the day where everyone joined as one unit, united to try and bring further success to the club.  This was the confirmation that made everything official, something that not even our wildest imagination could have thought up at the beginning of the season.  This was also the highest ever position that Birmingham had ever achieved in football league history in England.  Masanabo got the award that he deserved for what he had done for us this season, the Players' Young Player of the Year award, he had been absolutely amazing in his first season for us.  Much to my surprise, I was named the Manager of the Year, being one of the first ever managers to have ever won this award without winning the Manager of the Month award within the year of this award. I'm not complaining, just surprised.  The board declared for a second season running that the stadium would be getting a size increase, only this time it would be by 6500 seats. This would make sure that St. Andrews will now be 41909 seats in size. Just under 1000 seats smaller than Villa Park, the home of Aston Villa, our greatest club rivals.  In the end the top three goalscorers for my side this season were Juan Ignacio Pringles, finished the top goalscorer for us, being the only player to have reached 20 goals in both the league and others, and at just the age of 18. A bright future I can say he has. Vincent Aboubakar finished as the second highest goalscorer for us this season, only missing out due to his broken foot that he suffered near the end of the year, ending his season prematurely. Finally Keryn Masanabo, the man that I choose as my Player of the Season, the best signing I feel that I will ever make on a free transfer.  In League Two, Bath City made it into the playoffs, and even made it into the playoffs final, only to lose the right to play in League 1 next season to the side that beat them for the Blue Square Premier crown 2 years ago, Hereford Town, I felt so much disappointment for them, I knew that the fans much have felt heartbroken when it all ended at Wembley. Gateshead finished in 17th this season, while it was 3 places down from where they had finished last year, I felt that they might now be able to say that they are confident enough to go and try for the right to get themselves pushing for promotion or a top half finish next year. Gillingham finished in a disappointing 11th for a side that was one of the favourites to finish near the top of the table. Still, next year is always something to look forward to. 25 and Still Jobless – 2017-18 Season – Budgets and Bettings Time is always ticking away, no matter who you are, where you are, what you do and how you do it. Money has never really been an issue for me, because as far as I was concerned, in fact, in an entire season since I have become a manager, I have never spent over £7.5M over an entire season, something that I only reached due to the fact that I had made a transfer in the January Transfer window (who will be introduced in the next update). I would ask you, why should I be worried about money and how much I have to spend? Well, just being in the top club competition in Europe would be one.  The Premier League fixtures were introduced, and I can honestly say I am looking forward to my second season in the top flight, especially after what I pulled off last season. So to be able to face off against newly promoted Leeds in our first game was an easy way to start things off, but we were to finish things off in the hardest way possible.  This amount of money for the TV rights alone, just incredible when you think about it, isn't it?  The club had a newly created highest average attendance last season, however, this was going to be broken again after the new expansions to the Stadium at the end of next season.  Keryn Masanabo was voted by the fans at the club, the Player of the Year in Birmingham colours, he was actually made one of the two greatest buys last year along with Juan Ignacio Pringles.  The board offered me a chance to choose our expectations from as low as a Top Half Finish, though I honestly decided that I didn't want to chance the expectations too much, mostly because of the fact that I didn't feel like bringing the expectations up too high encase something bad DID happen and ended up costing me my job. Hey, just because I've earned £1.6M in wages so far doesn't mean I don't fear a lot of things happening.  I had heard a lot of rumors about where we were going to finish this season coming and to be honest with you, those expecting us to get relegated are just nonsense (possibly created by Aston Villa fans really), but those declaring that we were going to be 8th or higher are cool in my eyes, because that was where I was expecting us to finish. In fact, the media did as well, which gave us a 10 place jump from last season. However, the odds for Birmingham City winning their first ever Premier League title this season, that was 150-1, not that I didn't understand it or anything. I did have an issue of what odds that Manchester United and Liverpool got, surely that's way too high, especially after I did the league double over both clubs last season! Either way, I'm happy with the preparation so far, now all we need to do is get some players in and have a great preseason. That way we can say that we have high morale and a reason for everyone to say that we are going to produce some great performances, after all, we are in the Champions League. 25 and Still Jobless – 2017-18 Season – Murdered in Stuttgart I knew that the fans were going to stop at nothing to make sure that I stayed at the club after what I have achieved so far, but when the job came, I quickly accepted, and much to my surprise, the pay was almost 3 times the amount I was already earning.   When the media learnt of this development, they pretty much knew that I was staying with the club for a very long time, something that will have pleased the Birmingham City supporters, who were getting worried about the fact that I was in the last year of my contract.  The Youth Recruitment program had also received a boast in funds, meaning that we would thankfully be able to bring in some more young talent in the future.  This is a list shows just how much talent I've got in the side, which is quite a lot, however, more often than not, there is a problem somewhere along the line.  I try to ignore the results in Germany, simply because more than half of my main squad was given extended leave due to a lot of physical issues that seem to just pop up out of the blue. Apart from that, when most of the squad came back, just before the CSKA Moscow game, we performed really well. This will put us in with a great chance in the league. However, in the Champions League, we were given a game against a team that I quite honestly would have rather avoided until either the group stages or the knockout stages of the Champions League, I had been given a draw against Benfica, a side famous for beating Manchester United and other great clubs in Europe in recent years.  This season, I knew that in order to survive in the Champions League, I needed to invest in the squad and bring in some more players, this was made even more clearer when Alex Smithies decided that he wanted to leave the club because he didn't feel that the club was big enough for him, only to go to West Brom, who was nearly relegated and one of our closest rivals. Still, regardless, I managed to make up for that disappointing episode by signing some incredible talent.  Barry Frijters was the man that I decided was to replace Alex Smithies, yes he's Dutch and not English, but he is BETTER than my former top goalkeeper, who decided that he would whine his way out of the club. Though to be honest with you, I feel as if I got the better deal in the end by signing the Dutch goalkeeper, so who am I to complain?  The scouts found Alexandre Fournier in Basel and pointed him out to me as soon as I could, I made sure to get my two best scouts to look at him as well, before making an offer that Basel couldn't refuse. At the age of just 15, Fourier is the youngest talent I have ever signed and to be quite honest with you, the boy has so much potential, he along with Juan Ignacio Pringles could be my future front two.  Hugo Nunes was another player that was found by my scouts, much to my pleasant surprise, especially since it was from one of the lesser teams from Portugal. However, because of this I managed to presuade him to join us, as long as the side we brought him from got £1.2M, not a bad signing in my eyes.  As a winger who had been released by Barcelona, I sure that Ismael Lamrani was more surprised than most when we offered him a chance to join us, a side in the Champions League, though we may not be in the competition for very long, I feel that with such a bring future that Ismael seems to have, as well as Adam Johnson being 30 now, I could be giving this young man more games than even he might have been expecting.  With 2 of my 3 main central defenders letting me down, mostly due to age of the now 32 year old Curtis Davies and disappointing performances from Nicolas Isimat-Mirin, I had been lead to buy Salim Hafid, who has the potential to be even better than our best defender, Dawid Swierzinski, this young man will prove to everyone just how good of a buy he really is.  With Burnley having just made a bid for this young man and I feeling frustrated with having to constantly loan Hakan Zwarthoed, I brought in Ricardo Corbett, who has the potential to be better than Adam Johnson and Nathan Redmond in the role of the right midfielder. Yes he has to grow so more still, I feel that I have snatched a pretty good deal for this young Englishman.  When Luis Martinez suffered a torn Hamstring, I was cursing due to the fact I had been thinking that he would be the perfect backup for Keryn Masanabo, Gilbert Takawira and even Adam Johnson, for he is at his best when he plays as the Left Midfielder, Attacking Midfielder and even Defensive Midfielder. He has a bright future, but still, it was disappointing that he has suffered such a horrid injury before the league has even started.  Gilbert Takawira was a man that I had brought in January, the only man that I had brought in January, as a young talent who could one day replace Adam Matuszczyk. However, nobody had expected that he was ALREADY better than the man from Poland, so I can quite literally take glee in knowing that this 20 year old defensive midfielder is a reason for taking in so many young players.   Finally, Juan Ignacio Pringles was brought into the squad as an 18 year old boy last year (shown in the top screenshot), before now he stands as an 19 year old man, who has just come off of a season where he helped Birmingham City get to the Champions League with 20 league goals. Just comparing the two stages is just incredible and really shows what areas that the young man from Argentina has improved in. Quite a chance when you think about it. Hopefully, we will be able to beat Benfica in the Champions League, so we could progress into the group stage, but oh well, if we don't, then we don't, it doesn't really concern me too much.
