	25 and Still Jobless – 2014-15 Season – Down South to Bristol? "What the hell were you doing out there? You allowed yourself to be beaten so easily by Leyton Orient! No, it doesn't matter that it was Leyton Orient, in fact, this is my frustration over our away form being shouted at you right now!" I found myself roaring after yet another poor defeat away from home, I was breathing heavily due to my rage. Did these players not want to see our survival in this division? Did they want to go back down to the Blue Square Premier? "Stop putting so much pressure on us, boss." A lone voice called out to me, and I turned to the location of the voice, who was none other than one of my key players, Nicky Clark, he seemed as if he was stressed about the entire situation. "Don't put so much pressure on you? Nicky, you were one of our best players today, I honestly don't see why this would be upsetting you, you've performed as well as I'd want everyone else to be performing." "You're expecting too much from us." This was the sentence that rocked me to the core, was I really expecting too much from a side that I had grown used to winning with? Was I really expecting far too much, far too quickly from my side? I would like to say "No" but could I really? My confidence in myself and the squad was somewhat shaken after that, I must admit. Yet, I feel as though I had a point, this side were not performing as well as I feel that they could, we had one of the best starts to the season under my reign, we are the Blue Square Premier Champions, the FA Trophy Champions, we did the goddamn double in the fifth tier of football! How could we be struggling so badly? "As of this moment of time, Bristol Rovers have sacked Andy Richie, by the club's standards they have been disappointing this season having been expected to finish at least 4th this year. The main contender for the job of Colin Lee, while managers such as James Young, Lee Bradbury and John McGlynn are also linked with the job." My eyes shot open as I looked at Sky Sports as the news was announced, I looked more surprised than I would like to admit, I was linked with the job? Colin Lee, Lee Bradbury and John McGlynn are out of jobs, I was the only man linked with the job that was even with a job at the moment. I decided that I needed to find out where they were located out, and much to my surprise, it wasn't that far from Bath City, merely a couple of miles away in fact! Now to look at the League Table. Bristol Rovers were above us in the league, they would be expected to get into the playoffs at least, a second successive promotion perhaps? Could this be the breakthrough that I needed? Could I end up finding myself storming through the league like I had done with Gateshead the year before? Was Bristol Rovers the right move to make? 	Just read through all 19 pages and this is definitely one of the best SOMS I've ever seen! Full credit for keeping it going for this long too. If you can get the Rovers job I'd take it, they're already above you in the league and only 2 points off the play-offs, unless you truly believe that you can get Gateshead there this season. Also, it's closer to home for the manager -------------------

This is basically my Unemployment Challenge for this years game to be perfectly honest, I really wanted to keep this as realistic as possible, so the seasons I've had are just perfect in my eyes. To think that this is still the first patch as well, and perhaps the longest running story as of this time. I'm just hoping to get the Story of the Fortnight award sooner or later.

	25 and Still Jobless – 2014-15 Season – Job Down South to Bristol Cancelled!? I finally decided that I was to leave Gateshead, after over 550 days in charge, that it was time for me to leave Gateshead football club, the media took hold of the news like a storm. The Gateshead board weren't resentful over my decision much to my surprise, in fact, they were more desperate for me to stay at the club more than anything else. The Bristol Rovers board were actually excited by the news that I had applied for the job, however, there was a slight catch... they would not be able to afford the compensation fee to approach me. What the hell, that must have been the reason why so many people that were jobless were linked with the Bristol Rovers job at first! This was seriously not something that I could have foreseen, could I be blamed? So as a result of this, I decided to look at the value of the club and their finances to see a reason for this. Bristol Rovers are at least 3 times more valuable than Gateshead are, their stadium is just as big, only with less seated areas, while the finances seem to be in the same area as well. This made the reasons as to why they could not afford my compensation fee even more realistic and believable. However, should I leave Gateshead for a job that I still might not even get? Is it worth it or not? It's been 3 days since they announced that they were flattered by my interest. Would it be a good move or not? 	I would say leave, even if Bristol Rovers don't take you a higher reputable club will. However, I still think that if you think you can get promoted this season with Gateshead then stay. -------------------
