We don't often hear about games coming out earlier than expected, but that's the case with Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Namco's upcoming fighter was originally estimated to hit North American consoles during the holidays, but today the Japanese company has confirmed the game will be out in September. Nothing more specific than that, unfortunately.
So come September, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released here for PS3 and Xbox 360, with a starting roster of 50-plus fighters. In addition to the tag-based battles, TTT2 will also feature one-on-one fighting and solo versus tag-team modes.
Other modes include Pair Play, which allows four players to each take control of a character, and Fight Lab mode, a training mode with the customizable Combot (short for "combat robot").
