	Wiki Pages Dead or Alive 2 Log in to remove this advertisement It's been that many years since I played a Dead or Alive game on the PlayStation, that I'm really not too sure if it's worth picking up DoA. It was my favourite fighting game on the PS2, but I wasn't too fond of the third and fourth installments (probably because I played on a friend's console and didn't have the time to really get to grips with the games), so I want to know how it compares to the game that I did play very frequently. Obviously there are going to be some big changes, considering the time gap between DoA2 and this one, but I'm sure someone out there can offer me a comparison or two on these games, right? dead or alive 5, ps3, xbox 360, question, comparison ------------------- Dark Souls \| Dark Souls II

	Closer to 4 than it is to 2. Having spent a great deal of time with DoA2 on PS2 and Xbox, I can definitely say that much. I'd say rent if you're not sure. It's a solid fighting game, but a shell of it's former glory IMO. It's not as sluggish as 2, not that it was in the first place. 	I've never play DoA2, but I did have a lot of fun with #3, #4 wasn't as much and from the look of it, this one isn't to far off #4 with a few new features and characters added. Which is probably why I've yet to pick this up. However, if you've PSN+, it's currently free. 	Thanks for the responses guys, I just noticed that Dead or Alive 5 is free for PS+ subscribers at the moment, so I'll find out in the next few hours or so what this game is like without having to spend a cent. ------------------- Dark Souls \| Dark Souls II

	DOA5 is pretty dismal, and I've played all of them since 3. Just about every other fighter that's available is better.
