By comparison, the previous hand-held entrant in the franchise – Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon – has sold a little more than 250,000 units life to date in the U.S. Fire Emblem Awakening sold 70 percent of that figure in just 28 days. 	I imagine a decent chunk of the downloadable sales were due to the limited stock at launch. I almost downloaded it myself, luckily I found a copy. Though now I kinda wish I'd downloaded it, so that it would be easier to pop into the game for a few minutes to mess around with streetpass stuff then play another cartridge game. ------------------- General Wii U \| General 3DS

	Yeah, I only downloaded the game as well because I couldn't find a physical copy. I'm wondering if Nintendo wasn't expecting the game to do so well especially since Shadow Dragon has been out for four years and has only managed to sell 70.000 more copies than Awakening. It's good news for Nintendo since they will probably continue to release the Fire Emblem games here. ------------------- When You Go Astray, I'll Be There To Punch You Back!

	sniff I'm so proud of this game. seems odd to compare it to shadow dragon though, FESD was absolutely awful. I certainly hope the other games in the franchise did better than 250k. -------------------

	If I didn't already have a 3DS (present from my little brother), I would have bought the Fire Emblem bundle just for this game alone lol.
